Customer had option to pass their customer info to the provider or send email already which I believe they didn’t do
But it's clearly a client side issue where some js code is breaking in some version of browser perhaps or may be due to third party add ons.
In the email, suppose he gave customer Id, mail.... Other informations. But from server side, you can not get any useful information since bug exists in the client side.
I am just pointing how it can be resolved.
The console will have the necessary error message to debug.
@jsg you could try submitting a ticket and reply with the response code and status you can see in dev bar.

Your panel uses vue components. Since you are using ziggy, you probably are using laravel in backend as well with inertiajs.
You do not use a traditional form rather the data binding inputs. So in order to not getting proper response from the server, either of the two must happen:
(assuming fetch is sending the request since jsg had said that after hitting submit, some actions does happen)
The easiest way to debug is, to check the server response.
I don't see how it is useless input unless you can tell how one should proceed from here.

Let's be honest again - @jsg is smart enough to open Developer Tools, looks in Network tab and see what is there. 500, error, blocked by uBlock, anything. He (just) don't want to do it.

Because I went through the whole js section of the panel and it is a mess.
Just loading the support page will give you too many errors. On one hand, they are using SPA (single page application) and on the other hand, there is also jquery.
Then they are adding event listeners in vanilla js even though vue is used elsewhere.
Then jquery is used to send request through
$.ajax({})which could become problematic since the inputs are dynamic with vue data binding.In short, you are using virtual dom and actual dom together which could yield issues like jsg has mentioned.

I did not say that I'm unwilling to do that, I merely stated a problem. And yes, being an experienced developer (albeit not in web fluff) I could and quite likely would do as asked but I wasn't asked, not by the relevant person, hosthatch, anyway. Probably he's not interested in solving a problem he - publicly - first misunderstood and then largely ignored, demanding that I send an email (whatever that be good for; he didn't explain so far).

You just blamed the provider saying that they are blocking customers on cheaper (or promo) plans to create tickets. With no proof and ignoring all the workarounds with BS excuses like "oh not correct person asked me. They didn't asked me, they demanded me! I am not servant"

Different browsers follow different standards so sometimes, in rare occasions, some issues may creep up.
The panel has a bit of spaghetti code and could use some cleaning up. The way I see it is, they initially built the panel, but while adding features, didn't follow the set rules of the built version (it happens in different projects). In the end, compatibility may arise. You try to remove incompatibilities as much as possible but in rare cases, something might show up.
I am not saying it is someone's mistake. Since there is a deadlock going on, I just tried to give some pointers from where both the parties may carry forward.
Learnt my lesson. So I'll stop here.
Can @hosthatch drops some $7/yr VPS in APAC so I can buy, finally become a HH user, and try to debug the support ticket cannot be submitted issue?
