Celebrating 14 years in business - NVMe & Storage deals inside

Context is important here.
The context was,
I have simply stated a package that existed which cost less than $0.82/tb/month
so possibility is there refers to jsg having that package and hence he might believe $0.82 is costly. I don't know if jsg have that or not, but there is a possibility that he might and hence it can go lower than $0.82
Didn't last time hosthatch said they expected there storage to basically be idlers (very little CPU usage)?
Happy Birthday!
Isn't that kind of implied in the name "storage"? Sure, there will be some cpu usage of course, but it is intended for storage, hence the name.
Compare it to the other kind that is called "compute". Seriously, the names literally says it all.
Thanks! I've edited the post
how is the uptime for those compute nodes
I am not sure where this is coming from, but we do not have any way of disabling support tickets per account. All of our customers can submit tickets, including by contacting [email protected]
I am not aware of any providers offering this type of pricing for RAID10 HDD. You might be comparing two completely different products here.
Please see https://docs.hosthatch.com/features/
Indeed. To add some context:
This quoted user has made at least 25+ extremely hateful comments about HostHatch. In fact, at one point, nearly 95% of his posting history was regarding HostHatch. Take his opinion with a grain of salt, because it is likely tainted and the furthest thing possible from truth or balance.
To add further context: raw storage, RAID5/6 storage and RAID10 storage are completely different products. Context is indeed important.
3 years - $600
Monthly - 600/36 = 16.66
Price /TB/mo - 20/16.66 = $1.2
It's actually $16.66/20, not the other way around
$1.2 per TB, at 20TB, would make it $24.
@hosthatch

"14 years in business" - respect
Happy birthday ~ !
from happy customer since 2018..
anyway please make the snapshot feature become stable, i need 1 snapshot of my SG VPS.
A couple more months approximately. Our Amsterdam DC was out of power for quite a while so expanding was difficult, but we managed to get our hands on some more power/space.
We are rewriting our snapshot feature, it should be out of beta in the next month or so.
I don't think I have talked anything negative about either of the providers in these messages.
And secondly, everyone has their own opinion. I am not asking anyone to believe my words as gospel of truth. I simply gave out some data. If someone is interested, then calculate on their own.
It had nothing to do with quality of any of the providers. I am not sure why you are being aggravated for no reason at all.
Anyone knows what CPUs are used for the NVMe compute plans in Singapore and/or has yabs? Thanks!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOSTHATCH 🤍🩶
@hosthatch any promo on small 1-2TB HDD VPS in APAC triennial deals?
Happy anniversary!
Customer since 2014, how time flies...
Is the storage VPS stackable ?
Looking forward to the next promotion of AMS storage servers!
Yeah the storage VPS is insanely good, I feel. Currently paying $220 for every second year rather than every three in this promo. If I recall correctly, with the bi-annual payments I get double CPU, RAM and Bandwidth. Not double storage like you’re getting here though, so my plans 5TB.
Gonna stick with my current plan mind you as committing to there years is a bit more than I want for a plan that’s over $100, and while doubling the storage would be great, I’m not nearly maxing out the 5TB I have. Its a good deal if you can wear the three year commitment up front.
Congrats hosthatch for your 14th year in business.
That’s a great achievement in this industry!
If I'm not gravely mistaken the cheapest @hosthatch storage VPS is $115 per year and offers 5TB storage - just like my @host_c storage VPS for IIRC $ (or €?) 45 per year.
Plus decent support ...
Your opinion. Maybe correct, maybe not, but that doesn't change what I factually experienced. And yes, it does look like the panel simply is "cut off" from support. The only halfway "positive" explanation I can imagine is that it's an unintentional error.
And no, I did not try to email them. Why should I? After all there's a panel that seems to offer "open ticket".
I didn't say that specifically my panel was crippled. I told what I experienced. Three times in a row. Maybe it's a problem only with your NO location?
That is correct AFAIK, but then I don't care about RAID 10 storage, RAID 6 is good enough for me with a storage VPS.
But of course I do see that some customers do want RAID 10 storage boxes and I admit that for those people your offer quite likely is attractive.
And of course there's the support question. With @host_c support is great, with you however, well, you yourself clearly state that it's limited for promo products.
Btw, if I had that bad support experience with just any provider I'd simple leave them (possibly blacklist them) and be done, but with you I'm seriously disappointed because I considered you one of the better providers and liked you (which is why I congratulated you).
3 years APAC is really tempting, especially it is primarily GSL but singapore looking glass shown 230ms to OVH France on IPv4, well, actually all OVH in Europe. It appear to be routing on via Epsilon through NA.
It also 25ms higher to AWS North America on IPv4, specifically Ashburn. Also seem to be routing on Epsilon.
Any chance @hosthatch change the route to GSL?

Storage plans (available in - Chicago, New York, Stockholm, London, Los Angeles)
Is 5tb plan doesn't have Premium network?
Happy 14th Anniversary @hosthatch !!
I'm still very happy with my two plans with HostHatch!
Many many more years to come!!
Always satisfied with the services! Grab a new one in APAC. Thanks HostHatch!
As mentioned earlier, we do not restrict anyone from opening a ticket. I am sorry that you ran into this issue, but this is the first I am hearing about it, and no other customer has ever complained about this.
It would take much less effort to write an email.
Sometimes it boils down to skills issue
Happy Anniversary/ Birthday 🎂
Here's to many more decades🍻
