Ours failed too!
Big bois area seems so!
Has anyone received any updates from Hetzner regarding their plans to address the capacity issues (Cloud)? It’s starting to cause significant problems at this point.
What problems are you having?

They've had significant issues with resource availability in Falkenstein and Nuremberg over the past few months.
What problems? High steal time?
Did you read my post? I am talking about capacity issues, not performance. I have never had any performance issues on Hetzner.
I even got a CX32 in nbg some days ago.
I don't know how often you create instances in HC, but I'm spinning up literally hundreds or more each week to test some work I'm doing on hetzner-k3s for my day job. I keep running into capacity or resource unavailability issues quite frequently in Falkenstein and Nuremberg.
Hi @vitobotta - I am sorry about the constraints that this has been putting on your day to day work. We are always working to expand our infrastructure. As soon as we have solid news on this, we will update the Hetzner Status report. --Katie
Thanks Katie, looking forward to it
The message above is corporate speak for "don't know, check the status page when people who do know update it"

Happy April Fools' Day
Now that's not bad, but personally I would like to increase the amount of payment in the case of the article at least, but the idea is interesting
To be honest, Hetzner's support team is reassuring — they respond quickly and stay on the issue until it’s resolved.
Hi there @zrj766 -- Well spotted! While “physically” shifting data centers was just a bit of fun, there is a valid reason why many people want to migrate their data away from US based cloud providers. Under the U.S. CLOUD Act, authorities can demand access to your data — even if it’s stored in Europe. Our infrastructure is 100% German-owned and operated. That means your data remains fully governed by EU law, with jurisdictional clarity — even at our locations in the U.S. and Singapore. With this joke, we wanted people to re-think where their data is. https://hetzner.com/European-cloud --Katie
Please prioritize the B2C business and learn from OVH's low-cost dedicated server sales model
Please not
Maybe someone knows:
Earlier, when we wanted to cancel a dedicated box, we should have made a cancellation request via the robot before the invoice arrived.
For example, if our invoice comes to our mailbox on 10 April, then we can cancel the server on 06, 07, 08, and 09 April.
However, I am now reading the "cancellation FAQ" and understand that we can cancel the server at any time, and we will receive a pro-rata (hourly) bill.
For example, we pay every month on the 10th (April). If I cancel the server on 11 April, I will receive an invoice with a pro-rata price (~24 hours * XX EUR) on 10 May.
Can someone confirm if my thoughts are correct?
This server is "old", I mean it's not in its first billing period. I have had this machine for a couple of years.
Thanks
Yes. Hetzner changed to hourly billing a while ago. You can cancel anytime and only be charged for the time you use (except setup fee).
When are you planning to double the prices again and call it Easter special deals? Like you did reverse Black Friday last year.
Looking forward.
@SashkaPro - Hey there, @gemini90 is right. All of our dedicated servers (and many of our other products) now have hourly billing. Let's say you cancel your server on April 15. You'll pay an hourly fee only for the hours up to when you cancelled it. If you cancel on April 29, though, you'll pay for the whole monthly fee because that will actually be less expensive than the hourly fee. The monthly fee is always the maximum amount. --Katie
It's been 2 years with Hezner since I posted on this thread. I just upgraded my outdated cloud plan for a cx22, not bad, doubling ram and cpu shared cores for the same amount.
I would kindly request Hetzner a feature to block all incoming traffic from Asia, cause that's the only issue we really ever had.
For gameservers though... we prefer to stay with Netcup, unless we decide to switch to a dedicated unit in the near future and NC, they just don't have that.
Hey LETers, if any of you are also active on Mastodon, we have just joined with our own instance: https://mastodon.hetzner.social/@hetzner
For people who join there, there is a chance to win one of these prizes:
Looking forward to seeing you there! --Katie
Will you announce your doubled prices (aka opposite Black Friday) from Mastodon from now on?
AX102 is now available in Nuremberg.

can you buy it for me yes or no
I can buy it, but LET's rules don't allow it, I'm not the provider.
I ordered an auction server today, and found the free 100GB BX10 storage box is missing - iirc it's offered to all servers with price above a certain amount. So no more free storage box? @Hetzner_OL
omg let them breathe they're just a small company
