Thanks a lot! Found DC6 (65.108.0.0/24) but understand that there are not enough to ping and find "good dc" :(

In the same DC8 for example I found two random servers with different latency from me:

    12. 213-133-114-9.clients.your-server.de 0.0% 14 52.4 53.5 52.2 66.2 3.7
    13. core32.hel1.hetzner.com 0.0% 14 51.7 51.8 51.7 51.9 0.1
    14. ex9k2.dc8.hel1.hetzner.com 0.0% 14 52.0 52.2 51.8 54.1 0.6
    15. 37.27.67.25 0.0% 14 51.2 51.1 50.8 51.3 0.1

    12. 213-133-114-9.clients.your-server.de 0.0% 8 52.3 52.4 52.3 52.4 0.0
    13. core31.hel1.hetzner.com 0.0% 8 51.8 51.9 51.8 52.0 0.1
    14. ex9k2.dc8.hel1.hetzner.com 0.0% 8 69.4 69.4 69.2 69.6 0.1
    15. 37.27.67.21 0.0% 8 69.3 69.3 69.1 69.5 0.1

So ex9k2.dc8 is the same in both MTR's but different core and + 20ms :(

It's interesting that now Intel based VPS is cheaper than AMD (when You compare resources). Can You share with us what hardware is being used underneath? Are those nodes with new Intel Xeon 6 6700E?

BTW I would be nice to see increase in traffic limit from 20TB. Or at last see some scaling of it with bigger instances.

Price increase for older grandfathered in CX11 and CPX11

You have been using one or more CX11 and/or CPX11 cloud servers for some time, which are still billed according to an outdated pricing model and have since benefited from more favourable conditions.

From 1 September 2024, we will adjust the prices for these cloud servers to the current rates for new orders:

    Product Previous price New price
    CX11 € 2.61 € 3.92
    CPX11 3,92 € 4,58 €
All prices per month incl. 19 % VAT, excl. IPv4 address.

We ask for your understanding for this measure, but we are convinced that we can continue to offer you our cloud servers at the best price-performance ratio despite the price adjustment.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Please use the contact form in the Cloud Console at https://console.hetzner.cloud/support

    Yours sincerely

If you think that there may be a networking problem on our end, please try to document it as best as possible, for example, do MTRs in both directions, and write a support request using your Robot account. Our team will do their best to help you. --Katie

@Hetzner_OL How do i upload a custom ISO in Hetzner Cloud?

    @Janevski

Please file a support request with a link to your desired ISO.

Please scroll down and take a look at "How can I get a custom ISO?" at https://docs.hetzner.com/cloud/servers/faq

If you don't know already, it seems you have to create a VM in order to send a support request.

I asked for this recently. It took about four hours from my request to their email saying the ISO was ready.

One very nice thing about this is that the custom ISO is not server specific. Instead, the custom ISO persists within the Project. In other words, after deleting a server, I can come back and use the custom ISO again on a new server in the same project.

I have more than one project, but I haven't checked whether my custom ISO also is available in additional projects besides the project in which the VM which generated the support request was created.

If I can help you, please let me know. Feel free to DM or tag me here.

You can test the network path to Hetzner Singapore from your machines using ping/mtr or http download with https://sin-speed.hetzner.com/

    Hi @Erisa!

    Hope you are doing great!

I don't know where these -speed.hetzner.com speed test sites are documented on Hetzner's website. If you have a link to a documentation page, could you please post that link?

Googling for "test-files site:hetzner.com" gave me what might be imagined as the expected list of links (except for the "icmp" in the Helsinki server's name):

    https://ash-speed.hetzner.com/
    https://fsn1-speed.hetzner.com/
    http://hel.icmp.hetzner.com/
    https://nbg1-speed.hetzner.com/
    https://hil-speed.hetzner.com/
    https://sin-speed.hetzner.com/

    Best!

    Tom

I don't think they are, but they've been posted by Hetzner reps and eagle-eyed LET users in the past. The list you supplied looks pretty complete. I'm not sure why hel has icmp in its name!

It would be good if they were documented, maybe something we can ask @Hetzner_OL nicely about.

    Thank You so much @Erisa
The tool that I am waiting for ..

    Eventhough Hetzner SG 1TB only,
I think it's enough for my laptop backup. Since I am considering 15ms latency and 1Gbit connected from my Hideouts in Jakarta :))

You guys are right. The documentation was indeed missing in our docs. We are currently working on it and will share the link with you here as soon as the article is ready  -Lea

I just got a maintenance notification to a very old email of mine, thankfully still had it configured though, I changed to another one in account settings a while ago, probably a year or more but not sure.

The old email isn't in https://accounts.hetzner.com/account/mail.

Where exactly do I change my email for maintenance? @Hetzner_OL

It can be still registered to a different "client number" which still has that email. Check this, I have currently two different accounts with them for no reason

Don't think so, I have had multiple accounts (for legitimate reasons, different companies, privately, etc), but this lists a server that I'm sure is at the account with the "new" email.

I mean check the client number if it is different then it should be affected by their konsoleH client number change (if your account was created before 2022).

Huh, how do I check this? Don't see a client ID in the email. Although, I did get two identical emails, so maybe! :D
