Is iGPU enabled in this server?

From a previous post I understood that it's unlikely : LINK

Yeah, from what I understand it's a lottery depending on the motherboard used. Mine had a PD-9M that comes with C224 Chipset which has no support for iGPU.

    I'm still waiting :(
I hope I will get the 32gb ram edition.

I waited few hours to get mine but I got no bonuses.

I also have servers from last BF deal. If anyone needs it I can transfer it for regular fee. 1245v2,32gb 1600mhz, intel and kingston ssd 2x960gb 6 months old. Ca and fr locations.ipv4 100mbit up, all else 1gbit. My research - CA server has server mobo and ecc ram. Recently renewed.

    oh i don't see any :(

  • Mine was delivered. 32GB RAM and 2*960GB SSD! Now installing.

I noticed in the installation page that there is an option for custom image. That's new to me on Kimsufi servers. I might try later because it sounds fun and KS-KE is fun.

It's the somewhat classic Gbps UP on ipv6, and 100 Mbps UP on ipv4.
    SSDs are Intel S4510.

  • So my newly delivered KS-LE comes with a desktop motherboard with a H67 chipset. I suspect they all come with desktop hardware like that, so no hope for ECC (someone asks earlier in this thread) or other fancy server stuff.

No. It is a resouce lottery and interesting to see extra resources in this very cheap line. Except the 100 Mbps network the 12--15 Eur price without VAT is unbeatable with 960 GB SSD 32 GB RAM and Gbps network depending on luck.

I never won the kimsufi bonus lottery, always got what was advertised. Maybe ram was a bit faster or brand new ssd and ipv6 1gbit but double ram/ssd specs no. Never.

  • Nick81Nick81 Member

Actually I did 2TB instead of 1TB hdd but 8 years old one, waiting to die so they can swap it with 1TB.

    Delivered with the advertised config.

    2x 960 + 32GB (1Gbps download / 100mbps upload)
    1x 480GB + 16GB (1Gbps download / 1Gbps upload)
Maybe you also have a faster connection? 100mbps is of course 'retro'.

    No. 100/1000Mbps on both IPv4 & IPv6.

It's a pity that the additional IPs are so expensive now. Can you no longer get them for a one-time 2.4€?

You never could get extra IPs on Kimsufi at all.

Aside from that, time to start enjoying IPv6. (6th June is even the world IPv6 day)
