Got a 12.99 +VAT server at 4am. Initial OS install freezed, restart had no effect, the installation message was stuck on the top of the server control page. At 5am I opened a ticket, reporting the stuck installation. At 9:30 am I received an email that the ticket was assigned to a technician. At 10:30 I was notified that a server check intervention was scheduled at 11:30 to be carried out by the datacenter technicians. At 11:40 my server was again functional.

I wrote all these because I was expecting to have to wait days for support to reply to my ticket and other many days for the server to be fixed. This is because I read a lot of horror stories on reddit and here regarding OVH support.

However, in my case, it was a pleasant surprise. Having only the basic support plan and only a 15 euros server, I consider this a very decent response time.

Yeah, I have 1GB down on both IPv4 and IPv6 but both are limited to 100mbps on upload
