First YABS of the thread it looks like, here's my Seattle VM compared with a similar priced Buffalo VM from the last flash sale. VM is very sluggish, might still have some kinks that need to be worked out.

As you can see, a huge improvement in the CPU and disk I/O front, these servers are an amazing deal! However, the network in Seattle is very unstable right now, hoping for a fix soon

I think so. I used to run several C++ and Go programs with MySQL 5.5 altogether inside a 128MB vps, serving 2K simple QPS, back in 2015 though. It is always addicting (for me) to write a C++/Go service consuming only 20%-50% the memory occupied by Java/Python. So these days, I still occasionally buy tiny boxes equipped with 196MB or 256MB memory, just for chasing this kind of fun.
It is no different between 384 and 3840 for a idle box...
