I grabbed a BHS KS-LE however have been experiencing loss of connectivity / hardware lockup, requiring manual intervention to reset.

I've checked the logs and nothing to suggest that it is software related, I also run the same configuration on a number of sys & ovh servers and never had an issue.

Support ticket raised however from prior experience it can be an emotional journey for the Kimsufi product line.

Anyone else seen anything strange or am I just unlucky?

Not only you i'm having a nightmare with canada network 150 download and less than 10mbps upload.recently got 1gbps duplex

I guess they might ask you to check if it still locks up while in the rescue system. So might as well save time and check that now, while waiting for their reply. (And not a bad idea anyways).

For more ideas, check sensors for the CPU temps. And whlie booted in that rescue system, try some CPU benchmarks (GeekBench or UnixBench) in a loop, and see if those rise too much.

Do you have a US Account or EU Account? You offered me the KS-LE already, but we didn't know if the transfer is allowed. I would create a ticket and ask.

I'd like to take an FR one in RBX* to take advantage of the gbps internal speed, have two unpaid orders but not sure if I'd bet on the French roulette.

I think so. On RBX KSLE New, only get 100m up and 1g down. but luckly get new disk.
    41 hours old disk.

At SBH old KSLE i got 100m/1g on yabs. but 1g/1g internal DC traffic. And still get brand new 4tb disk. Maybe i won the lottery on my old KSLE BHS.

Check if this tested IPv6 here, only IPv4 has the increased speed within OVH.

Hello? I just wrote to you that only IPv4 got high internal speeds. And you test and re-test IPv6. However, as others post above that might be not the same for everyone.

Which DC exactly? I haven’t been monitoring super hard but it’s been working great for a game server

Server located in BHS4, got the 1gig down, 100m up.

Thanks for the reply @rm_. Everything looked find under load (~45deg) which was more perplexing. I ended up reinstalling but with the Debian 10 template (instead of the original 11) and manually upgrade to 11. Everything seems to be solid for now and I have restored the previous docker config.. there isn't much installed in addition to the base template except (ufw, snmp, etc). Strange.

In terms of intra-DC bandwidth, interestingly I have 2x SYS-1-SAT-32 in RBX6 and they do not get 1gig internal speed... only 250m up. (only 5 racks apart!)

  • I guess we won't see more stock for SYS-LE-1 or SYS-LE-2 in FRA :#

The API is aware, that the 2x2TB is actually a 2x4TB right.

    Even for the old sales.

However, the API is not aware, that the 100Mbit are actually 1000Mbit down or even up.

My KS-1s in GRA now only have 250Mbps down, it was fun while it lasted although I am still keeping 'em just for the lottery winning on the drives.

*something about the end being nigh*

I can imagine all the PMS this will generate, already caught a live one yesterday.
