They're a publicly traded company now, and will be raising prices on a regular basis to increase profit margins.

    Hi,

Do you mean rising prices on existing lease? The KS specials are labelled "Special offer valid for entire commitment duration" will they increase the price for existing customers?

No, but all of their new offers have and will continue to increase in price. Hardware ages, and it's rare to see a customer keep a server for years.

    Any YABS for SYS-LE-2?

It's odd that they chose to use 1x a dual socket CPU, but at least it performs well.

Install 'smartmontools' and then run 'smartctl -A /dev/sdX'.

Look for 'Host_Writes_GiB', 'Host_Reads_GiB' or similar. You'll know what you have to look for, once you see it.

    Cheers!

Try selecting some other location for speedtest... I think you see 1gig for Canada only. If you switch to EU location or Texas, that would be more realistic and you may see the cap.
    Good luck.

Looks like he needs the notification when a new product appears. checkservers.ovh operates on a per-product subscription.

EDIT: On a second thought, he may just be looking for stock after all; looking at his post history it seems he just missed this thread.

There are Flash Sale KS-07 (€8.99 ~ €9) stocks available at BHS, CA, but the coupon KSSETUP doesn't apply?

Flash Sale offers do not qualify for discount coupons

But that applies to Flash Sale KS-LE (2022).

The offer there is to old, its years ago.

I noticed the action yesterday, even before the announcement. It's just that I'm busy selling servers and I can't immediately update everything at the same minute. In OVH, you can always create an order and pay within 15 days. The checker works every minute, checks whether there is a new one, the server appears, a letter arrives. I wrote it for myself, since I have a flow of orders for the OVH data center. If there is some kind of promotion, I create orders (10-20 orders per minute) and then for 15 days I pay for what is needed and what is not needed. I bought about 2 thousand servers in 2 years.

    KS-LE

It took me 2 minutes to create 25 orders for KS-LE without installation. I also took 1 server per order, but I can take 5 servers for 1 order. If you pay for all of them, the servers will be delivered anyway. OVH is much smarter than Hetzner, for example, when you bought it and they gave it to you.

I know OVH from A to Z how it works, a lot of different bugs and tricks and other things. There are many hidden server configurations in OVH. If you create an order and pay, the server will be delivered to OVH anyway.

Yesterday everyone had a whole day to create orders in advance and then pay and wait for deliveries.
