So, you'd be able to create Flash Sale KS-07 (2018) in GRA or RBX instead of current BHS, which is not displayed from the front page https://www.kimsufi.com/us/en/servers.xml ?
No. I can not. I am not an English-speaking user and I write crookedly through the translator, maybe the essence was conveyed incorrectly.
An employee forgot to disable this promotion a year ago. It is only available in BHS. I'm saying that people can create orders in advance and then pay whether they need a server or not.
So how can I get a server now when it’s listed out of stock? Just wait?
They are just very cheap servers. They may appear after the action, everything is played by the probability and speed of action. Who managed to buy one and ate here. For some configurations from stocks, in general, they stay in stock for a maximum of an hour, then they disappear and sometimes randomly appear for 1-2 minutes:
I don’t know how to explain it, you just need to be able to do everything quickly. Here on the current promotion, I caught a lot of servers in just half an hour. Also SYS-LE-2 with 2x2TB NVME also scored a lot and quickly.
That's a huge magic!
KS LE Canada (BF Deals)
normal on my KS LE CA.
Offer is available till the 8th so I’m assuming it will be restocked atleast 1 more time
True, got 3x KS-LE NEW Edition invoice unpaid, I am thinking about upgrading a KS-LE old Edition non 2x4TB to 2x4TB plus better CPU.
5$ more monthly for that.
Yeah that’s my thoughts
Do you know how long I can keep an OVH/SYS/KS order without paying it? I got one server, but I would prefer another location.
If the server has already been bought and expired, it is deleted on the 7th day.
Order after create have 15 days for payment. Well, in the same place, the expiration date is written on top.
what do you do with 8TB of space and a 100MB uplink?
Premium idle
Thanks! Since we are talking about a server model, which is most of the time out of stock, what will happen to it, if I do not pay for it immediately? Is the hardware reserved for me or do I need to wait for a new delivery?
Whatever you want. Ppl give too much meaning on the link speed, which is fine for almost 90% of uses.
OVH will still deliver the order, just with a delay of several days or weeks. Those servers that are now on KS-LE have a huge number of them. There is a feeling that only a few people here buy servers in batches, and all basically 1-2 servers buy a maximum.
how are managing your fleet?
What fleet?
I believe they mean how do you manage all of your servers.
yep What ServernotFound said.
how do you manage your servers. From book keeping to updates.
KS/SYS/OVH has an API, I guess he will be using this.
Plus internal data, so he know which is free and which is used until ...
I keep records in billing and spreadsheets sometimes.
Here's how the orders go:

I do everything by hand. Currently, there are several thousand servers active in several data centers. That's simple. This is not difficult. Servers are such a product that you installed the OS once and that's it, it can work for years.
Typical uptime:
In OVH technical problems are solved automatically through monitoring. In Hetzner, you need to write a ticket every time if something does not work, this is a little more problematic. They would have done automonitoring like in OVH and they had no price.
On Hetzner, I can create technical access to manage the client, and OVH also has such a function.
I have a customer base that knows what they are buying, there are almost no tickets.
Tickets are written only when they send money off for renewals or ordering new servers for different payment systems, we have a lot of them Crypto, Yoomoney, Qiwi, Webmoney, PayPal, USDT, exchangers, bank bots, Tinkoff, Sberbank, PrivatBank, Monobank, Advcash. I replenish bank cards and pay for the necessary servers in data centers, the main thing is not to go beyond the limits and that's it.
This is how all Russian resellers work, mainly manually and in bulk.
its a lot of manual work. I was thinking you have own custom tool since you are running a business.
i can imagine you are putting some time everyday.
your hair must be be grey by now
all the best to you- keep well.
So far, 5 years have passed, in addition to hosting, I still have many sites, I write articles and so on. Purely so manually, I can probably keep 10,000 servers, pay for something, help clients and so on.
It is technical problems that are very easy to solve, if this is not some kind of bug, it cannot be affected in any way.
Sometimes there are even absolutely empty days when you can do nothing and play games all day long.
Mostly problems, these are complaints, there are people who will buy, do some kind of disgusting thing and deal with the problem to me later. This is really infuriating, I immediately block for this.
When they take and spam for example from the server. Such clients slip through, I think, to every hoster.
Sometimes it’s annoying to talk to stupid staff when you describe to them how their company works and how to fix this problem. Especially when you get bugs in the panels or that the server does not restart there and so on.
During the beginning of COVID quarantine, a wild increase in server orders began. So on average 20-30-40 server orders per day. In December, there was an order for 100x AX41-NVME + Windows Server 2019 servers. I manually installed 100 desktops in 18 hours of work somewhere through VNC.
A few days ago, Hetzner raised the price for DE servers from an auction, I asked people who had servers(i7-4770, i7-3770, i7-2600, i7-3930k), no one canceled. Everyone is so indifferent to the price that sometimes even some cheap server can be bought x3 times more expensive, the main thing is that it should be issued quickly.
I've used @Vova1234's and @alice2k's services myself a few times in the past and every time it went really smooth, so I'd definitely recommend them. I had a few good deals from online.net, Hetzner and OVH that I bought through them and I was basically paying the same price or +1 EUR more or so after missing out on the live deals and everything was already out of stock as I'm guessing the purpose was mainly to keep those servers under their ownership.
I would have too expected this to be a headache, considering the amount of manual work involved but I guess you just got used to it and you got more effective over time.
Since @Vova1234 is the protagonist in this thread now, I also have a question for him. Since you are reselling these services, you must be charging some premium (extra charge) over regular price and its obvious . Then why your clients or users are not buying directly instead of buying from you to make savings ?
LOL. I am only 26 years old. I'm not a boomer yet. There are many different clients on the Internet. Basically, people don't want to figure out this jungle themselves and pay other people who do it for them. Many data centers do not believe, for example, that a person needs 100 servers and may simply refuse to issue him or not understand him if he is a foreigner.
I can show an example to order: https://hosting.show/alice2k-hosting/vot-v-proshlom-godu-pisal-na-karantine-u-chuvaka-vyrosla-nagruzka-i-tak-bylo-po-vsem-klientam-po-suti-vse-vezde-roslo-razumeetsya-kto-ne-byl-klientom-deshevyh-virtualok-a-kto-pokupal-dediki.html
A person wrote to me, he needed 80 servers i9-9900k (EX62-NVME) for games, he paid for it via Webmoney. I prepared everything for him in 4 days.
The person urgently needed servers for six months. OVH - Rise tariff. Paid, made and worked under the necessary tasks.
Also servers with no setup fees. For example, right now I can provide 70 servers AX41-NVME without installation fees. We got rid of the previous client.
If you constantly sell, you can see different loopholes, promotions and so on. People use this, you can write to the reseller, the reseller will quickly offer all possible cheap and not cheap options and will do everything very quickly and as it should. Resellers understand servers better than data center employees.
There were even moments when clients immediately left and then returned because they didn’t know what to do and how to do it, then the payment stuck, then negotiations with support were long and incomprehensible, and others. There were many different moments.
I don’t know, on average, from 1000 servers you can get 10-20 thousand dollars a month from sales with a mark-up of 5-10%. It depends which servers are sold, expensive or cheap. It depends on how many people work, for example, I work alone, so you don’t need to share anything with anyone, you just work for fun and that’s it.
There are familiar resellers who sell servers generally at 2x-3x the price of the source. The income there is insane. This type of business is quite common in Russia and the CIS countries. But this only works with dedicated servers, not with other services: VPS, shared, cloud and etc.
Those who keep their networks and ASN and keep complaints can take 5-10x more. A server, for example, for 5,000 rubles ($64), can be sold for 50,000 rubles ($640). Cover the server with abuse network for a drop. But this is a completely different kind of work, I try to be a white hoster. Amazing modern world.
Free setup fee coupon KSSETUP not available for ks-7 flash sale
I grabbed a BHS KS-LE however have been experiencing loss of connectivity / hardware lockup, requiring manual intervention to reset.
I've checked the logs and nothing to suggest that it is software related, I also run the same configuration on a number of sys & ovh servers and never had an issue.
Support ticket raised however from prior experience it can be an emotional journey for the Kimsufi product line.
Anyone else seen anything strange or am I just unlucky?
