People, just get this dedi and a OVH VPS in the same DC. Install Proxmox, get your additional IPs on the OVH VPS and gre tunnel them to the dedi. taa-daah, perfect proxmox node.
If you need that additional space it's good, otherwise not as good as the other offer imo.

Yeah the upload kills it. I don't know what OVH is thinking releasing all these new KS, they're around the same cost as the SYS stuff without bonuses like additional IP, and a super slow network. IMO all the KS lineup should get 250/250, SYS should get 1000/500, and OVH main brand should get 1000/1000+. It sucks seeing the Kimsufi brand of cheap shitboxes almost die out due to bad decisions from OVH.

Assuming iperf meassures at application layer (L7) it includes ~4% overhead compared to ethernet data link layer (L2). Hence seeing 96 Mbps in iperf at an offered a rate of 100 Mbps looks just perfectly fine.
It's more that 100MBPS really isn't enough for something this powerful, especially not for $22 considering the SYS-SAT-1 is right there with 250mbps and more features (like IPMI and additional IP addresses) for only $27. I don't think the $5 difference is worth it at all.
They're a publicly traded company now, and will be raising prices on a regular basis to increase profit margins.
