But we are told everything will be up and running on Monday. How will he ever find this thread to post updates if it sinks?
...
you can subscribe to the topic anyway, if it is of such importance to you ;-)
My server in Oradea is still up.
It's on autopilot but don't worry, it will go down eventually.
It actually did go down for a few weeks, now is back up.
Are you serious, Sir?
The ‘community’ may then demand this thread be unlocked, and we will have another 50 pages of discussion about the merits of unlocking a closed thread. We will have a long explanation from admins why the unlocking, followed by several likes to that post, and folks will start getting excited even more every time Monday arrives.
This won't be resolved until we find out which time zone Monday will be in.
The next one!
What's the outbound performance like? Is it OK, or is it still shit?
Yeah, I assume it's utter shit. I saw the previous comments, but I wasn't sure.
I dont need much, freenet has very low traffic anyway, about 500 GB a month per node.
you are lucky its still up.
That’s what she said…

So do you mean email was hijacked?
yeah, sure, imagine cociu with this above announcement in hand running towards one of his extreme valuable customer:
this is the stinky level of his credibility
Yeah. No mistakes. Can't be Cocius' text.
I don't think terrahost is that stupid to honor HS pricing. I really really hope that.
This is not broken english email.
However I would assume you have Norway VPS with them? Seems like not many people got that message so it must have been target to only people having service in Norway? I would assume even if cociu would sell customers database list it would not come with services location - just personal data. Someone that 'hacked' his db would not care about sending this kinda of "spam".
So... it's not cociu, but someone that has access, with good english. WHO WROTE THAT?
what about credits then? terrahost will transfer over?
@terrahost speaking up on this matter, after this email, is a much better and healthier choice than staying silent. Just saying.
Why so skeptical?
Yes, someone clearly proofread/corrected the text, but this doesn't mean that it's not from @cociu .
Indeed, in his current situation, it makes perfect sense that @cociu would withdraw from Norway.
Probably not. Terrahost aren't acquiring HS -- they are simply transferring those services that HS customers had at Terrahost to Terrahost.
I wasn’t planning on it, just saying 😉
The email is correct, we are taking over HS infrastructure and customers in Norway. Virtual servers will be moved to newer and more powerful hardware very soon.
The combination of services in Norway makes this profitable for us, so we have no plans of adjusting pricing. But we will most likely not offer anything more at these prices
We are however not able to honor credits unfortunately.
Dear costumer,
Im Marius Borta from HostSolutions.ro. This message is for you to understand perfectly the steps: I personally thanks to @terrahost for his unconditionated support, who offer to take over our server and costumers.
About HostSolutions future: It has been a fun ride but I need focus on my Romania location servers, and my mind state. I can tell this agreement is for the costumers best interest, and I hope it will be like I have post here .... resuscitated.
How we will to move forward with transfer to terrahost:
1) all virtual servers will be online like ssd offer, ryzen, nvme etc with same ips.
2) Yes prices will not change despite speculations.
3) after 6 month of the migration, the ips must be changed with new ones.
Terrahost will message all costumers for this migraniation and all users will recieve a message for the new user portal.
Thanks all who has followed us on this journey, and just to clarificate: I have faill is true, but HostSolutions not deadpooled, just the next days our primary focus will be our services hosted in Romania.
If any from here not beleve or dont want transition, please contact with me on skype or email.
Marius
Is this what you were looking for?
I have two servers still running in Norway and have not received an email - this just sounds like a wind up !!!
Interesting. Does borta sold his customers in this agreement? If yes, than it is total bancruptcy as customers is the last asset he had and couldn't sell via olex.
Pathetic.
On the other hand, Terrahost performance is good. Support for ultra cheap services could be better. They try to force you to move from lxc to kvm in order to "properly use" wireguard.
Sorry you are having issues with WG on our LXC servers. Issues like this is primarily why we have chosen to not sell any more of them (for the most part). Any update on the nodes, which we should do rather frequently, breaks Wireguard as it's dependant on host modules.
