Now I understand how these unbeatable low prices come about. According to the motto. Hey Willie you still have an old computer. With 128GB RAM yes of course no problem just put it in

Did you also learn wrestling is fake as an adult?

Can I cancell my ordered VPS and get another one which is still available?

Absolutely. No refund, of course, so you can pay for any available VPS.

@insight said: They provide a great service for the price no doubt about that, is just the fact when you engage support they lack on response.

He's been super-active here in this thread and he's said multiple times that those tickets will be handled but at the back of the queue. He's set appropriate expections. You're just being entitled.

I'm still confused on how you're saying they're not free upgrades. What did you pay for them?

That's a fair question, because the price asked for those is what I'm actually paying for less so I could destroy my existent servers and put a request for the new specs as mentioned on the thread... so instead I engaged support to ask for that possibility, to upgrade my existent ones while keeping my monthly payment.

A simple "yes its ok, we will comeback to you" or a "no, unfortunately we cannot do that for you" would be enough for me....

But it was already answered in OP and yet you still bothered with a ticket and then whined like a bitch when a non revenue increasing but labour increasing request comes in? Jesus Christ, your ego.

Order the new service, move your own shit over. Cancel the old service. There. Answered. Now close the ticket yourself.

  • I know I am late to party but those 2TB links he gave later are still working. Will they be provisioned @hosthatch?

WOW. That's very fast. Don't think I've ever seen a VPS get near that for network speeds. Even for hosts with 10GbE they usually cap each individual VPS at 1 Gb/s max.

    Yeah rub it in :D

  • Those of you who've received your servers ... what did you have to do to get it to work?

One of mine was delivered several hours ago, but is still unreachable on ping.

Trying to reinstall from panel gives this error -

Unable to reinstall server type of 'custom'.

noVNC Console access from panel is stuck with this error -
    Booting from Hard Disk...
    error: invalid arch-independent ELF magic.
    Entering rescue mode...
    grub rescue>

Mounting any of the ISOs and rebooting doesn't change anything - still the same error as before.

Wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything before ticketing in (not familiar with this panel).

Mounting any of the ISOs and rebooting doesn't change anything - still the same error as before.

Wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything before ticketing in (not familiar with this panel).

When reinstalling click the "Change template" button under the ">" symbol. If you don't see "Change template" then the VM is not ready. Leave it several hours (seriously, it can take a while). If you still don't see it then probably something got screwed up.

I do see the "change template" option; have also tried selecting several different templates ... always get the "Unable to reinstall server type of 'custom'." error.

It has been 18 hours since the server creation, so I suppose it just didn't get created correctly. I'll send in a support ticket.

Yeah, I think you'll need to.

Do we need to create a ticket for the flash sale servers that had the direct links that show finalising?

No, tickets were needed only for the offers in the first post - those are no longer available.

But, if you're lucky enough to find one of the flash deals still in stock, you can order it.

After you will click "buy" new invoice will be generated which need be paid within an hour (if I understand correctly all previous messages here)

  • I thought at the end of BF and CM, I would stop spamming F5. Im still F5'ing on hosthatch client website waiting on my 10TB Storage. So excited, specially seeing that 10g connectivity LOL

I feel ya ... one of my servers was delivered, but looks like incorrectly provisioned (unreachable).

You don't have to keep F5'ing though - you'll be notified by email when your server is provisioned.

  • In other words, has anyone already received an answer on the ticket or at least had the server entered after they received the ticket ? I don't mean the final delivery but only that at least the server is in the list. Please share screenshots.

No great ideas on how to use 10TB yet? :)

  • I only got the 2 TB but I plan to do 1) Nextcloud and 2) offsite backup for my home computers.

Host has not yet hatched though. Still incubating.

Not yet, I would probably use it to store family photos and probably give all my friends and family a NC account :D
