Is their dedi reliable?
Got half-way through signup and thought ‘what the fuck am I doing’.
I’m gettin’ too old for this shit.
So you want some faster shit?
Anyone use them and can tell us what their network is like, support, etc?
I don’t need 500GB of RAID storage, an Atom CPU or 4GB RAM. I was just buying because it was peanuts. It’d just idle.
Jist ordered, for those in UK country you need to select is Royaume-Uni
I should be more rational because just hit the button, I was thinking "Another storage server, why not", will benchmark and see what will be the result.
Ordered one 2x500Gb let's see how the are.
It has no setup fee, it costs about 6EUR with VAT, so give it a try before its out of stock.
Are you from EU? If not, were you charged VAT?
Test IP: 91.229.20.1
Vallencienes is some village in the fields so ping can be higher than if it was in Paris.
No use for me as well but if they had IPMI, would've bought for some learning/experiments
Vat wasn't charged as they have my company id on file as I'm already a customer. I suppose they charge it to private customers though.
So far their support has been great but I'm used to contacting them in French so that might make a difference.
Never had a complaint bout their network. Seems to be stable. Can't run a bench a I'm hosting actual stuff there for a client but my monitor never showed downtime. If I remember right from when I set it up it felt like a snappy box. I ended up with them as it was a request by my client.
Yeah I was charged VAT and I'm Canadian lol
I was charged VAT also though I am not EU citizen.
Does anyone know if they provision systems on the weekend?
It still says Stock 13, the same 2 hours ago, could be a good or bad sign.
My last server with them was delivered on a Sunday (17th Dec 2017) at around 9 am CET.
There network ist pretty good, but they had a very long downtime recently because something during maintenance blew up.
Took me a good 10 minutes to finally figure out "États-Unis" is United States in French.
Thanks for the deal! You've redeemed yourself and are no longer destined for a lifetime of servitude to the devil.
@softxnews thanks for that. I'm only going to be putting a non-critical NextCloud instance there so not too worried if its down from time to time.
It took 10 months for some anyway

What about their ddos policies? Null route? Termination?
wow
why avast show warning while browsing there website?
I defaulted to Canada after looking for a couple minutes.
RAID 1 for the price + not centralized with OVH... nice backup box for somebody needing that. Too bad the CPU isn't more powerful. Could have been a pretty decent dedi!
I am not from Europe and had to pay VAT, I made the payment with Paypal.
Now let's see how long they take to deliver. Maybe three days.
Anyone know what Atom it is? If its supports 4GB it can't be too ancient, maybe?
Even the D525 supports 4GB.
