For the third time, he wasn't hacked.

His mysql is simply crashing, simple fix... and can be completely avoided.

  • MunMun Member

However, as he does shared hosting and can't seem to fix his own websites database, again why should I host with you?

  • shovenoseshovenose Member, Host Rep

@Mun cPanel/CentOS is MUCH more stable.

Then if you know it better why don't you migrate your site to Centos?

  • @shovenose said: @Mun cPanel/CentOS is MUCH more stable.

If you need, get someone in LET to take a look at your DB for you and see what is going on, as far as I know LET/LEB used to both running on Debian and none of them had this kind of random MySQL crashes and I am sure LET/LEB is much more popular than shovehost.

  • You can hire good sysads here who can help you

Looks like you need to shove a sys admin into an SSH session to fix your issues for you.

It's not Debian's fault, then, it's that you have to have your MySQL et al. managed by cPanel.

Debian, as awful as it may be, works just as well as Cent. They're both made to be reliable and stable for long-term, server use.

Someone better call a shovetech to take a look at your MySQL.

Seriously though, after reading this thread I wouldn't even use a VPS from you if you offered it for free.

    It's shovetastic!

The VPS I had in BHS was actually quite decent, though I never gave it too much heavy use.

It's just.. a bit interesting to see the self-presentation here on LET.

Okay, MySQL is crashing: Check logs, why is it crashing? A mysql start cron is not the answer. Oh, and don't blame debian.

It's like you're applying your logic from your LET threads....

Your LET threads always end up in you getting bashed. The solution is NOT to open over 9000 more threads, it is to find out why you're getting bashed, and fix it.

That's why a thread was opened on why he is getting bashed? He's trying to find out.
