  New customers but I heard some existing ones were able to claim it.

  If you go to https://www.digitalocean.com/user_payment_profiles/new and see the option to enter a coupon, then you can do it.

  Thanks, apparantly you can only use a coupon once.

  For those who have yet to use the coupon option there is a coupon for $20 credit available, "SSDTWEET20".

  I never had to submit anything.. I did not know this even existed until they emailed me regarding the $5 credit. I did setup a dot com domain if that makes a difference..

  expire in 24hrs as usual trial time. after 1 day they send me a mail with : "if you want i can credit to you with $1.25" hmm?
