You will need to check again everyday or wait for the new dedicated server range
Not at the moment. The IP above (the smokeping) is hosted in one of our PoP, not yet in the DC. But you should expect the same latency, maybe 2 or 3ms more.
Sad news
May I ask why ? You can send the feedback in PM is you want.
No ETA nor information at the moment. Sorry
@MaikoB
How soon will there be failover IPs for DE after launch?
And whats the mailing list for DE?
The DC is not yet launch. No mailing list for now.
IP Failover should be available in the same time as the launch, just like for Sydney and Singapore.
: ( need more additional ips in SG...

They have a /17 ready for Virginia as well
@MaikoB
When will 250 Mbps unlimited bandwidth be available for DISCOVER-32 ? It's already available for MC-32.
For now, 100Mbps unlimited for DISCOVER-32 is the same price as 250 Mbps unlimited for MC-32. It's not very fair
People better buckle up, they're going to burn through space hard and force prices up.

Hey Maiko, could you solve these routing issues to OVH SGP? I sent them to [email protected] a week ago but there was no response.
Sorry about that.
Checking with our network team.
Thank you for your feedback.
When will OVH Poland dedicated servers be available for ordering? I'm waiting eagerly for them to arrive. Any info?
You just have to open your eyes.
I swear I did that a couple of days ago with no results , thank you!
Any news on when their game servers will be hitting poland?
They're bringing the i7-4790K to poland as well, plus Oles has been making tweets about more WAW1 dedicated servers being available as well
@MaikoB what about germany (limburg) discovery? Oles announced it for April and >1 month ago he posted like "discover soon". Any news about this?
They connected it to their backbone said oles @ twitter
Few more weeks for limburg DC. I hope they got cheap E5 64GB RAM servers.
Any ETA on the Singapore to Sydney direct connection?
G'day guys,
I'm working mainly on the APAC zone and can help you with anything related to our Australian based support and our SYD/SGP datacenters.
Regarding others zones/datacenters, I don't have much information actually, sorry
I know, thats why i'm asking
Appreciated.
Latest news from APAC datacenters !
Hello everyone,
I'm pleased to share some of the latest news about our APAC datacentres located in Sydney, AU and Singapore :
IP FailOver is available on any servers in Sydney and Singapore (Discover, GAME, …). Discover Server can have up to 16 IP FO, GAME Server can have up to 256. We were having some issues with some specific range of server but now it’s all fixed. If you still have issue on IP FO, please contact your OVH Support.
We now have a direct link between Sydney and Singapore, reducing the latency between datacentre by 50% ! This link also allow our Sydney datacentre to have redundancy through Singapore’s link with the European Backbone in Marseille, France.

Wasn't there supposed to be a Seattle location coming online this year? Or was that VA?
VA then OR "soon"
Are the Australian GAME servers featuring the Intel Core i7 CPUs in Sydney, Australia air-cooled as opposed to the Canada and France ones which are watercooled?
Not sure if I'll get an answer or not, also asked in the email list too
Odd they want to completely tackle the east coast before the west?
I see some routes going direct. Doesn't look like Telstra is one of them. You are correct that direct is half the time. Having that alternate submarine route between APAC and the US is important as well.
And how would peering working from OR to Asia? Are we looking at OR > Los Angeles > out? Or maybe through Seattle?
Surely Seattle because Hawaiki future potential
Yeah so many people were complaining about Telstra, I don't think they removed them but added a bunch of other routes so traffic going over Telstra is probably rare unless you're sending/receiving to someone who is actually on Telstra DSL as their ISP.
Does anyone have any idea when is OVH bringing the i7 GAME servers to Warsaw ?
