You prick! Go with either Clouvider or linuxthefish if they helped you that much!
Haha no worries, it doesn't cost me anything to help people get data back - I've already paid for the bandwidth and IP's.
I still recommend the OP to continue trying new and different providers, even if once in a while you do come across one that screws you over. It's part of the fun!
P.S. CLEARANCE30 for 30%recuring discount on https://clients.gestiondbi.com/index.php?/cart/deepnet-solutions-vps/
Do not forget, it's $13CAD by year. Not USD.
Well, this reaffirms the adage -
You're next.
Another kids host went down..
Surprised to see them being deadpooled.
Maybe Bangladesh is now under flood?
Soon China will be. Why so racist ?
I'm sorry I caused misunderstandings.
I don't want to hurt anybody.
I mean... maybe that's the reason why they are offline...
No worries. They are just summer host.
maybe the hostbd24 representative can help here a bit with the situation ?
@rj_HOSTBD24
@PieNotEvenEaten
Well the owner has not responded to our attempts at getting a hold of him. Like I said GET OUT while you got time.
@proltd please buy this company for $1500
I just talked with Tonmoy; He is busy with the Union Council election. I asked what's going on with his UK location, and he can't hear me for huge sound. He will back the call soon that's was his last reply to me.
Sounds like he has founded the Bangladesh chapter of the union of summer hosts, which seems to be keeping him busy enough to forget about the customers he has already charged $$.
i-83 customer here - what was the reason you linked to LG on ldn-uk? Sorry if this is a noob question.
I suppose to show that you can still access the servers from inside the network, but not from the outside.
Got it, thanks!
I love summer hosts.
Without them, we wouldn't have refugee offers.
I don't want to read ANY complaints.
Those guys never tried to hide their age, you all knew what could happen.
Then you are in the wrong forum man haha
duh, this is complaint thread, no?
Well, somebody should have acted when they couldn't pay out 50$ of affiliate money.
I also do not understand why the customers did not take backups and moved when they read that. ;-)
LowEndOptimism ?
Again are you in the wrong forum lol @Amitz ? (joking btw) seems the standard here is take no backups then complain once a provider deads pool
Lessons this has taught me:
1) Follow your gut when you're looking at the hosting website before buying.
2) Regular backups (at least daily) of all the important stuff on your main server.
3) Backup to a server on a different company from your main server, particularly a big-brand company with a reputation for reliability, e.g. DigitalOcean, AWS.
4) Most people on LowEndTalk are really nice and helpful (ignoring all the dank memes and trolling).
Yeah, as they never experience downtime. I propose using Microsoft Azure for that: http://www.crn.com/news/cloud/300076751/azure-nightmare-customer-suffers-9-day-intermittent-outage-gets-no-help-from-microsoft.htm and other - Google.
There is no provider that will not experience downtime, even if you pay $1/month or $10,000/m - backups are essential.
