Yes you're right... QuadIX definitely have zero problems...
At $10-$30 a pop, I'm not sure why everyone is treating this like an 'all or nothing' situation with cheap dedicated servers and choosing sides.
I have been vocal of Quad in the past due to lack of BCP38. At $10, I'll keep a monitoring box there. I have 2 bare-metal servers at Delimiter, 2 at Dacentec, 2 at OVH, 1 at Reliable in WV (amazing gem in the rough) and now 1 at VD / Quad.
Why? Goes back to my having a hot-spare server ready at any time for anything & off-site backups.
The crap between providers on here sometimes is like prostitutes fighting, serves no purpose. The same idea too, cheap enough so you can use a ton, but don't expect a lot for the price. Also, due to the price, we'll all probably use your services now and again...
Mine was delivered around the same time as @jarland, a nice little surprise.
You don't pay them enough.
@IThinkUFailed Fantastic job. May I use you instead of Google? It make you feel needed?
@Kris I do not choose any side - I have plenty servers at Datashack, Wholesale Internet, Delimiter, OVH, Oneprovider etc. And point is Quadix is not any worse of those aftermentioned hosts - contrary to the things that @IThinkUFailed wrote here. That's all.
Their post said 1-2 business days 3-5 business days is much different.
@volumedrive PM sent, Please immediately activated
Saturday 11:07 PM local time, night before Valentines day... Seriously?
Yes. Immediately. Must give him priority!
Sir... pls sir kindly remit
FML.
Talk about balls!!!
Do they have their own facility now or was it a midnight snatch and grab to the new facility like what happened with BurstNET?
Where are BurstNet now?
Still waiting on mine. The beggars must have jumped in front of me
@volumedrive
System Info
Processor : Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G530 @ 2.40GHz

Kernel : 2.6.32-573.el6.x86_64

Wanna to know why the Base Frequency is limited to 1600MHz ??
Got mine:
Great its 750GB HDD (2 months old HDD).
Speed Step, idle state, name your choice.
I just throw this in /etc/rc.local:
It remits the needful every time. Threw in time on all my servers boot, as I've noticed times are jumpy on systems at Wholesale Internet sometimes.
Still waiting for mine, how's the network?
I wanna know why you buy servers and then ask questions like that.
I'm sorry if you feel offence as English is my third language only
Things get lost in translation, especially online even for native speakers. Don't worry about it
The CPU scales down when it isn't being used, it's a power saving feature. Run something intensive and it'll scale up again.
If you want the CPU to be at it's 'full capability' at all times, follow the advice from @Kris
I think you got lucky
9 Power_On_Hours -O--C- 094 094 000 - 42440
That said, I had a small hardware issue when the server was deployed, and they managed to fix it within a couple hours - So far I'm impressed with the support!
This wasn't about speaking properly a foreign language or understanding english, but about the lack of knowledge on how to determinate a server's clocking frequency.
But, you are a little severe here. Shouldn't supposed the rent of a 10$ server be a nice step to start learning about handling servers?
Any speed tests for us that are still waiting?
This is taken from my x5650 server, should be the same on other servers:

There seems to have been a delay in your estimate. When will the remaining servers be deployed?
Will more be listed?
Yes, and with 250GB extra space
We are at about 75% completed. The last remaining will be deployed into tomorrow afternoon / evening.
