  • What. you know you don't get refunded for a smart server deployed.

Bochi said: Also tried their biggest configuration in CZ for about 190$ / month, but that sucked...

Seems like it was a pro server, so hourly billing.

This. But I have to admit I started to sweat for a few seconds as I saw that I couldn't cancel my Smart Server. :D

I try the DC1IT, seems solid,

going to try CZ is it good network / disk io?

for 1euro, i found this vmware is much better than new random openvz summerhost lol

    how is the server now?

The performance was still terrible and I cancelled this VPS. Picked up another one in DC1-IT instead.

Hi guys, thanks for using our services and Happy New Year to everybody! Soon we will be here to answer all your questions.

I registered yesterday, paid 1€ just to try it out first, but I can't get password for control panel... Mobile number is valid, but I didn't get any SMS. I also opened ticket with this issue and it's still unanswered...

  • ArubaCloud have good price and few great dc but too bad I hate high latency. Typing in terminal feels forever. lol

  • Yes, too bad the customer area password doesn't arrive even if the phone number is valid.

Had the same problem, you have to be patient...
In a few days they will answer you and tell you to try another time...it won't work again...you tell them...they escalate your ticket...after a few days you get an mail with your password. :P

Well, they replied today, however, if you have such system I was hoping it was going on automated.

  • @wladymeer said:

totally understandable, maybe it is automated to some degree.
but if something goes wrong, support/ticket system probably can't be ;-)

  • It really iritates me that I can't change the control panel password to something I will remember. When you reset, it just choses another random password for you and sends you an SMS. That was enough to make me move on.

@slowdive Lucky you, you keep getting your passwords... I was informed that I'm gonna have my password sent to inbox and guess what - NOTHING.

If this is how all low-cost services behave, I guess I will stick to those slightly more expensive but will be treated like a person instead... Just lost 3 days waiting for my password for control panel to arrive...

  • you checked your spam folder?

I would consider 50 MB/s more than reasonable given the price.

that's enough for almost any thing but people have desires that can't be fulfilled but in this case if he contact the support they will check the node.

DD test is same as drag race useless one but its a motor sport.

    same goes for this one

I know, but yesterday have 600-800MB/s.

Seems like There DC1 in Italy has some Network burps: http://status.x8e.net/index.php?data=24ecbe8d69492ac1da510e12e1c96430

Which would explain my Connection Errors in my Gameserver Webinterface, eh.

    Confirmed by 3 External Locations.
