It says that provisioning of your server has been postponed to the given date and time. I guess their automated provisioning system is overloaded at the moment... That sucks a bit, normally their provisioning is very fast.

Ahhh so maybe support is delayed to check the physical drive. Thanks :-)

That's well possible! You'll know more tomorrow after 11am CET then, I guess.

May need a newer smartmontools, also try "1" or "2" instead of 0.

those numbers seem to be the number of installed drives, 0 and 1 gave identical outputs and 2 gave an error.

when i google about "cciss_vol_status" people mentioning /dev/cciss and using as a parameter for cciss_vol_status. problem is that i dont have a /dev/cciss folder

Isn't it a hardware raid? I think you guys might be looking for hpacucli. Should work with the P410 to get more drive/raid info.

Online.net really overdelivers on bandwidth. Even the €1.99 Kidechires (which don't come with any speed guarantee) consistently pull 350-500 Mbps, sometimes much more.

  • Killer offer. First special I've missed - because I was sleeping in due to being sick, gah! Love my kidechires and limited 4814 though.

    So with my SAS server:

"SMART Health Status: HARDWARE IMPENDING FAILURE GENERAL HARD DRIVE FAILURE"

Wonder how quick they are to fix things like this..

They pull (download) full gigabit from all over Europe (since the DL is not used much in the datacenter), however the upload is lower and may vary a lot.

  • Online.net is good with connections, no 250Mbps crap like OVH.
