Hello,
Long time lurker, just recently decided to sign up and join the community. Thank you for hosting this wonderful site.
Hi,
I'm a seasoned SysAdmin who's been around and done some things, Linux/Unix-like specialist, OS nerd, server junkie, and knowledge enthusiast.
I do a little bit of programming. Mostly shell scripting and Python with a little C and C++ in the past, and I'm working on adding Perl and Rust.
I'm a Texas Panhandle transplant who now lives in Tulsa where I do some Linux consulting as a side business (https://www.psi-green.net/).

Hi everyone, I'm Daniel aka FullyCycle.
Just joined the community & telegram, although have always come across the forum many occasions when googling.
Oh and happy 2017 everyone!
Hi,
compsci student / part-time sysadmin here. Avid linux user, rust fan and the guy that always does premature optimization, but believes to learn something from it
Happy 2017 everyone!
Hobbyist server admin after being in the industry for 25+ years, I like to keep the public services outside my home LAN...
Don't want to spend a ton on hosting tho!
Hi, Name is Mark been doing the computers since '95 currently working for a hosting provider as Admin/Support/Sales/Laborer in beautiful downtown Binghamton (yeah it's snowing). I like fast servers, long nights and grep. 17 is my fav number!
I'm a smartass jerkhole. I can be bribe by small pieces of paper with color on them to make your things more stable, better, and more secure. I can also make a pretty kickin'-rad chili.
Hi I'm Cyph3r. I move country to country almost yearly but love traveling so I don't mind it. I enjoy long walks on the beach as well.
Hello everyone ! I am Syed Ahmed Faruque. I am from Bangladesh. I am a Chemical Engineer working in a natural gas processing plant. I have interest on Linux, servers and weird people. This is why I love LET.
Programmer/Linux Fan here. Used to work at a web host forever ago. Had a colo as a free perk that got put on a truck and moved to the company that bought us out. Kept it running 2+ years kernel upgrades and all till they realized I had no history in the support or billing system!
Aahaha man that brings back memories. The free colo was nice, but when they came in and started unplugging things and assigning themselves static IPs on the private network, taking random nodes down and out.. yep, good times.
Hello, I am Adin Musa. I am new here. Looking for active participation. I am a Master student of (marketing) and I am from London (UK).
Hello,
I am a 20 yr old guy studying web designing & development, and have been following the LEB blog for over a year to land some cheap VPS deals to try my hands at linux and server administration stuff.
That is when I also signed up at LET but have been a little lazy about actually posting here and introducing myself. (Glad that has changed now!)
See you folks around
Hi,
I found this forum whilst searching for the nameservers for buyshared.net.
As a UK user, I am amazed how cheap decent spec US hosting is.
Very interesting forum.
Welcome @tdwuk . We're a wacky bunch, but we are the best forum of all time.
Even going back to the Roman Forum.
Allo cunt, Brits are always welcome 'ere in LET. Unless you're a right chippy little cunt, in which case you can sling your fookin' 'ook.
Edit: we also have an introductions thread, which is referenced in the rules. Go read'em.
I feel like that is the same form of "interesting" as when my mother calls me "special".
Brits are welcome but not those who talk like a high school production of Pygmalion.
I mean...you're an Eton man, right? Order of the Garter, COE, etc. I assume.
Ban Hammer ETA : 2 days.
Hello - again. Somehow I missed the link and this forum has a layout new to me. Everything seems to be in one place.
In London, UK, found the forum looking for the nameserver address for buyshared.net (still not found them).
Found some great reseller offers here.
I read the introduction thread but somehow missed the link - doh. Very interesting forum layout, new to me.
Found some great info here already.
Hi,
I didn't see how to commit to the sub thread -introductions-, so I'll post it under general. I'm Jeremy, currently going to Seminole State, seeking NS-TECH AS degree (cisco routers etc..) I work at AceHardware part time, and enjoy reading up on the latest in science and technology. I'm glad to be a part of this seemingly great community.
Regards,
Jeremy
You mean Forum Romanum?

Nice to meet you all
Hi there,
This is my first post in the forum and let me introduce something about myself.
I am a serious programmer. I am looking for some nice VPS offers that can help my projects. That is the main reason why I go registered here. Because I want to understand more about the VPS market, and this forum seems to be the best place to get such information.
