They said that they fixed that ._.
Screenshot?
Just in the title tags, it shows 108.61.72.6 where as mine is 108.61.72.44, will get a screenshot in a bit
Same issue here: 108.61.103.9 in the tab info, and thats not my IP:
That's slightly worrying..
@DaveA is that bug possibly going to compromise our servers?
@DaveA I can confirm that I get the same error on both my France and Netherlands servers. Both showing complete different IPs in tab info then what my servers has.
Clusterfuck aka key collusion.
i'm a new vultr's user.It seem i'm not the only one who got that error. I deploy an instance (server location is in france when i deploy it), but when i got into my instance, it said US. Is it france now merged with US? sigh I destroyed it now, and will try to deploy again
@DaveA I really like what you guys are doing, and I hope that you will get more locations up and running soon. I hope you get the following joke:
@marcm - Thats cute.
Et Al - Looking into the IP issue now
The IP in the management pane is your IP, the IP in the browser tab(page title) is not your VM's IP. As for deploying in France but server being created in NJ, I do not see that issue nor am I able to replicate it.
well, that's strange. I think you have to recheck using this screenshot as your reference.
thats what i got. I deployed in france but the instance being created in NJ.
@DaveA, I think everyone knows that already Just wondering if there's some sort of vulnerability with it.
Also you might wish to remove the coupon code from your sig.
@bazou999
Have you considered that the geoIP might just show as NJ and that the server is in France? Since speedtest.net chooses the server based on geo IP at times.
Looks like they now limited network speed to 11 MB/s or is it me only getting slow speed ?
@Fliphost yeah, I've been thinking that way. Just wondering if there's something wrong with the deployment.. for now i will just go with it, but if it's true miss-placed, I'll re-deploy it later. No big problem with it
edited : thats answered my question, i think it's true it's just stupid speedtest trying to fool me. thanks bro
I also discovered that on my Netherlands server today, and I just tested again and max 11 MB/s from all my EU test sites. Just a couple of days since I got much better speed on the same server. @DaveA whats going on with the limited network speeds?
There's probably some idiot downloading lots of porn.
LOL, but strange that the network speed is max 100 mbit/s now, and not 1 gbit/s as before. So I think VULTR have restricted the speed.
Hmm, how you doing the test? I've got a NL VM I can compare of you like?
I'm using a wget script downloading a 100MB file from all of my European servers that I have with iwStack, DigitalOcean, Ramnode, INIZ, Backupsy etc.
the reduced speeds it's only on my VULTR Netherlands server. On my France server all speeds is good.
But you can post the result of this test:
wget freevps.us/downloads/bench.sh -O - -o /dev/null|bash
They had some idiot flooding, and said they were placing restrictions. Wouldn't suprise me.
Taking ages for that script to run, I ran a speedtest.net and it does seem limited (100mbit/s)
The IP issue was resolved, we were displaying the vnc ip in the page Title. No security issue.
You know it reminds me something like this:
Do you limit network speed ?
Network speed is limited by default to 11 MB/s. To lift this restriction, you must contact our support team and fill out an authorization form.
and yes, @DaveA it's not good to apply limits without informing about that to your clients. Bad business practice.
Read what I said.

The Vultr network will be the highest performance instance you can buy in our price range when we complete our roll out. Instances in certain locations are limited to provide a consistent quality product across all our nodes. When we complete the roll out in the coming days we will provide the fastest performance(GigE and 10GbE) of anyone out there. Thank you for your understanding.
@DaveA but why downgrade (as it seems) the network currently? the download speeds have diminished quite a lot

(though results show NJ as location, both of these were completed by me on a NL node.
