What issues arise? The bond should be linked to the bridge, why would SolusVM care about the bond?

If you're using mode0, the guests can't receive incoming connections, and SolusVM doesn't know what to do. It might not be SolusVM's fault entirely, but I never ran into the issue on Nebula (also using KVM.)

Using mode1 fixes that though, or any of the other modes. (The MAC specific mode works the best from my experience, whereas the "per packet" balancer doesn't work at all under SolusVM from our experience.)

Multiple DDoS attacks. They're on seperate physical servers and no client services are affected, just our www.shovehost.com site is down for now.

Have you tried cloudflare or any of those cdn/site protectors?

  • Shrug. I was offering to help. As an impartial observer. Offer is still open @GreenValueHost.

For anyone else with a GVH VPS, is this kind of performance the norm?

    ioping -c 10 .

    10 requests completed in 9376.6 ms, 27 iops, 0.1 mb/s

    dd if=/dev/zero of=test bs=64k count=16k conv=fdatasync

    1073741824 bytes (1.1 GB) copied, 55.4459 s, 19.4 MB/s

Thanks GVH. Now, could you please set the bandwidth counter to 1.66TB so I can continue where I left off?

    hahahaha

Do you still plan to take advantage of the 45 day money back guarantee?

Oh well :) Just going to let the damn thing sit, while I find something legit to do with 100TB of bandwidth.

  • @shovenose said:
Oh well :) This time I will first use most of the disk space, then find something to non-abusively fill most of the RAM, then I will find a file I can constantly download without anybody bothering me about it.

    What's wrong with you?

If you're going to pursue a vendetta of petty vengeance instead of being a productive member of society at least help those who are productive members and donate the VPS’s computational capacity to http://milkyway.cs.rpi.edu/milkyway/ or http://lhcathome.web.cern.ch/ or http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/ .
