  • Plan1) AMD EPYC 7642 x4core = 125 / 3 years (BudgetKVMSG-3)
    Plan2) AMD EPYC 7763 x2core = 100/ 3 years (EPYCSG-2)

Q1) Is above 'future' plans in post#1 correct?
Q2) Which Plan is stronger in terms of CPU intensive tasks E.g. light machine learning?

Any chance on a Budget DE-1 server on trienally payment with double ram?

  • CedCed Member

good deal, just the ssd is too small and haven't found a double bonus for triennially billing, would you consider add double ssd on 3yrs billing?

GreenCloud always has this smol diks syndrome.
The only deal with big SSD is the 9999 plan, but it's hard to find now.

It does not seems to me that this is actually small disk issue. Plans are a bit unbalanced (in a good way) because of there's so much RAM for a price.

    Example:

20GB SSD RAID-10 Hard drive for $15.00 USD yearly or $40.00 USD triennialy seems ok.
But you get here 2GB of memory, or in case of triennial payment even 4GB of memory, which make this disk to look a bit smallish.

We can look at this other way around. Real anomaly is big RAM not small disk. There's so much of RAM for a price that disk can't catch up :p

Guys, dont expect a lot of hard drive on the cheapest plans ;) We need to cut cost somewhere to bring the price down, if everything is too good to be true then these plans are not sustainable.
If you need big drive, just order our normal plans which come with plenty of space, for example: https://greencloudvps.com/epyc-nvme-kvm-vds.php
They will be available in Singapore DC1 between June 20 - June 30 too.

  • Do you support rDNS on ipv6?

  • my oh my what can i do between now till June 20 - June 30

    They don't (from the support):
_We only suport set rDNS for IPv4

As we have received a lot of requests for VPS with > 100GB storage, we are now offering double storage as a bonus besides the double of RAM & Bandwidth for EPYCSG-3 with triennial payments: https://greencloudvps.com/billing/store/premium-kvm-sale/epycsg-3

Limited qty (27) available at the time of this comment.

Might as well do that on the Budget version too ;)

In a month I bought and tested about 10 budget VPS from different companies.
To be honest, I was very impressed with this one.
Even at the time of updating the Linux system, I realized that this virtual server is very fast.
Here is the YABS of BudgetKVM-2:

Please pay attention to the performance of the processor cores. Usually they are bypassed, and for budget VPS this is one of my main requirements.

I was pleasantly surprised that the performance is in line with the $6 servers from HostHatch:

    Processor : AMD EPYC 7402P 24-Core Processor
    CPU cores : 2 @ 2794.750 MHz

    Geekbench 6 Benchmark Test:

    Test | Value
    Single Core | 1282
    Multi Core | 2332

So I can confidently say that BudgetKVM-2 from GreenCloud is the fastest in its class for the money!
The performance is on par with the similar server from HostHatch, but at a price 3 times lower. And times faster than the $12 virtual machines from DigitalOcean!

It turns out that the budget virtual servers with the performance of top hosting offerings.

    Thanks!

Hopefully it would be even faster for the new nodes.

Budget KVM plans will be deployed on EPYC Rome 7642 and NVMe 4.0 RAID-10 nodes.
Premium KVM plans will be deployed on EPYC Milan 7763 and NVMe 4.0 RAID-10 nodes.

Calculated over the 24 hour period. i.e. you can utilize 100% cpu for 10 mins during 24 hours

Yes, we have 5-10Gbps anti-DDoS in SG locations, but not allowed to use our VPS for game servers, etc.
