  • Is it possible to get 128GB RAM?

    Not at this moment.
we use mITX sized, so there aren't many models with 4x DIMM slots.

    In future it's possible tho.

Few more hours without setup fees

    Take advantage while you can.

pricing can also go up, dynamic doesn't mean it only goes down.

Here's current list. Consider snatching one before prices climb even higher.
Current pressure is for +~2€/Day as general change before individual server model factors.

We updated the system to account for individual component and cpu performance demand level too.

Yea, there was this little thing called energy crisis. Our standard offers are very competitively priced tho.

  • PulsedMediaPulsedMedia Member, Patron Provider

Yea spot pricing has, almost normalized -- except for the 1€+ peak prices.

Our building's owner made shit contract, our electrical rates are currently like 3x they were 2 years ago. They made a new contract during this period, and ofc they volunteered their tenants into most expensive green option, 100% renewables only.

Our electrical price bottomed out last year to about 2x what it was 2 years ago.

We have no control over this in the Helsinki DC.

Most have made shit deals like this, very very few are on spot pricing. Standard here is X% flat rate and Y% spot pricing. People went completely crazy and made long term contracts at high prices when this began. There are a lot of businesses out of business and commercial buildings empty because of electricity prices.

TL;DR; That chart doesn't reflect reality actually.

Stock is a bit limited right now:

Most upcoming models right now are 2x NVMe, probably have next week some new nodes. No eta on additional i7 models, only that 1x i7-7700t in stock.

@PulsedMedia , because we are in March and almost weekend and you are feeling there can be sales today :) how about making a flash on couple of the above?

  • @ehab said:

And drop the OVH setup fee

  • @ehab said: how about making a flash on couple of the above?

but but it's already flash nvme... :p

seriously im a huge fan of these, worth every penny. most is <3ms away with speed capacity available. hardware reliable and performs within spec

ok. just for you, 1% discount flash sale on 3 year term compoundable with regular long term discount! ;D

    j/k ofc :)

Pricing is based on demand vs supply.
We keep selling out both extremes -> The most expensive and the least expensive.

btw, we do have one i5-10500t coming available. that's probably faster than i7-7700t. Expecting to rack it late next week. Some 12th gen is in freight too.

But yea, people ask for i7 series, so we need to get more of them. they are just stupid expensive for the very small gains in performance :/

Why doesn't the one in stock fit your needs?

    Current Pricing

    This one is quite an insane deal;

lower price than i5-7500t model :O and even the i5-6500t is 28.08€ so ...

    Model requests

We need to get our orders sorted from the states within a week. This will be the last freight container before next winter, no other containers leave during the summer so next one will arrive in November. Not enought time to build nodes for Black Friday.

Parcels need to be at the warehouse by 25.3 most likely, unless there is a delay (there often is 1-3week delays, but not always)

Now is the time to make model requests if you have any.
Typical ranges are CPU generation, 1-2x NVMe, amount of ram.

Do you have a favorite you think we should add?

We have limited numbers of Ryzen 2200GE, i5-12500t up coming already, and a lot of i5 7/8th gen. Most are 1x NVMe.

You can make a request with eBay or Newegg listing linked too.
However, be mindful we can only accept mITX sized with 12v or 24V input. using picoPSU is possible, but not preferred.
Max height typical is 40mm (1RU) but we are going to make a few sets with max height of 80mm too (2RU)

Brand new we most likely source locally.

We've been testing some things, follow up new models will probably have those before migrating old ones to the new system.
~32 nodes need to be upgraded to new platform too.

There remains quite a bit of code to do in order to have this function, per rack control units etc.

awesome! :) That's insanely much for 14€, esp if you consider others in the price range are 100Mbps (or does actually someone allow you to use 250Mbps?)

remember to run network-speed.xyz too, the results are ... interesting! ;)

For miniserver? Not a bloody chance. Needs to be hundreds of euros per month to make any sense.

HelsinkiDC is better for Helsinki Colocation regardless.
