So go pick your node now :)

You'd be a fool not to buy one ;') also, referencing an earlier post or whatever, didn't you guys build your own dc? But ig in a rented facility?

We have our own DC yes, and we are building another one, and in partnership building a 3rd one.

Ah, since you referenced your building's owner making a electricity contract.

We don't own the building, and here regulations say that if building has transformer(s), there can be only 1 electrical contract.

Take a long term subscription then and lock in that price for that duration.

Besides, even without the discount these have some amazing pricing!

Tickets only, and Debian 11 only for now.
This is too custom to work with pre-existing solutions as is, development is under way but nothing yet even on beta level.

I mean if one really wants to nitpick, you're just an apt update away from 12.

Much easier and far more straightforward.

I think the issue is that you can't order Debian 12 (for whatever reason).

@nullnothere said: I think the issue is that you can't order Debian 12 (for whatever reason).

    from: https://pulsedmedia.com/minidedi-dedicated-servers-finland.php

BETA: This is the new server platform we have been developing, and is still under heavy development. There might be some extra maintenance windows due to the development process. Due to being in development there is only Debian 11 as distro choice.

We want to get hardware side done, and concentrate on that right now more. We are experimenting with automation solutions in the backend tho, but releasing that stuff broken is no way to proceed. Software side is much easier to accomplish than hardware, so all effort should be on the toughest stuff to get done.

That being said, the DC for these is progressing nicely.

and we should soon have time to experiment with some new server models too ...

Each and every set we build is still different from last one, each one is improved in rapid succession. This is the largest project we've undertaken, and it's kinda funny, MD units number in the hundreds just for testing and development ... That ought to give some indication as of what we are trying to achieve here ;)

awesome I/O perf you got there. Those MSI units really are fast aren't they ;)
Let alone that network perf. Can't get that on a Kimsufi / OneProvider (100/250Mbps)

It's actually supposed to be 32GB of RAM, it looks like it was for frontend typoed :) You are welcome, pushed the price lower.

We just had a customer request 40 of this model actually. We really need to ramp up fast i guess.

The only plus I can think of with KS is broader OS support. But their support could be better.

KS has no support at all. Well at least they didn't.
Just to get VAT 0% took something like 10 months of effort.

Replacements ... yea nope, just buy a new one.

I hear it's gotten better tho.

We used to resell so many kimsufis that i literally had my index finger cramping from all the orders we had to do, had to buy one buy one because the customer support would add extra 24% for ordering many at once, they didn't understand what VAT is, so they took VAT 24% price, marked it as VAT 0% and then added another VAT 24% on top.

For a while my daily routine consisted of ordering like 50-100 kimsufi nodes. This was before kimsufi was separated to it's own domain.

When it became it's own brand, they had zero customer service (public forum only), so we stopped reselling KS.
