    To me, the KS-LE-2 looks a bit more appealing. Basically the same but with Intel E5-1650v2 - 6c/12t instead of E3-1245v2 - 4c/8t, so 50% extra performance for about 33% more money.

    It used to be also an E5 for 14.99€, now they seem to use a E3 instead.

    Keep in mind that You are getting 2x 800GB SSD instead of 2x2TB spinning rust that You had with old e5 deal.

    Well, I got 2x4TB on the last KS-LE, maybe you could get a E5 for 14.99 if you are lucky, who knows.

    All this is tempting, but I'll keep my KS-LE (2021) for another year (the "new" price being €16.49 ex VAT). I still prefer my higher cpu and 2x2TB , even if this is HDD. Yes, some... plenty... get 2x4TB :cry: .. but my disks were almost new, so I can't complain.

    Yes, it's normally download is gbit and upload is capped to 100mbit. (from the server side).

    Damn I thought as much, they are misselling it as ECC when it isn't. (None of the existing E3-12xx Kimsufis have ECC, or at least they weren't labelled as ECC before today and weren't ECC when I briefly owned one)

    Will be hanging on to last year's KS-LE

    For new purchasers the KS-LE-2 is a better bet, will likely be supermicro x9 board and registered ECC
