i think u have to wait... alos i dont think they about us....
He is already fixed.
Im not affected by this network problem but have you tried to just force the os to use legacy network name instead of going at length converting the adapter to new names?
Use this in grub boot parameter
net.ifnames=0 biosdevname=1
oh nice, well mine still doesnt work.... just open now a ticket, i hope it will be done by the end of the week
I looked back for 5 pages, but could not find what problem you are having.
Would you care to let me know what is the issue?
my vps went yesterday offline, im trying to boot it, but it wont go online, did that mount/unmount image thing, didnt helped at all, reinstalled to OS.. didnt worked...
and now im clueless...
What node?
Offline like it shows offline in the billing and SolusVM panel, or like no network?
Problems never end, But Solutions Never end either
Be positive guys.
FFME004.VIRM.AC and its offline everywhere SolusVM and billing panel area, but i saw they changed to status of my ticket now, its pink ! i love pink !!!!
I've tried to read through everything here - I know this is a migration which has gone wrong. Has anyone actually heard what the problem is and what the expected time of resolution will be?
Hey @FrankZ, my vps on DALZ007 went dead this morning ~5:45am. Shows as offline in WebUI. Hitting Boot says it was successful but doesn't actually power it on. Checked SolusVM and there doesn't appear to be an ISO mounted. Any clues I might be able to use?
I have some servers in Chicago in production.
but My server was locked suddenly without any email notification.
I am so angry.
The server data is very important. It is about my one year's work.
server id: 265248
@VirMach
Did you look in the WebUI? It most likely got migrated to New York. There was an announcement on the Network Status page iirc. I also was kind of annoyed since as far as I knew my server suddenly "vanished".
Biggest truth that LET and its providers teach is backup, backup, backup.
Restore from backup
He put my slave backup server was down too.
being crazy.
I have asked him about Chicago datacenter, he said he will migrate Chicago in Aug or Sep.
I should get the migration news before it is processing.
>
Point was more that your server may need to be turned back on and/or network reconfigured. I had to do both of those things after moving... Good to know about Chicago DC in near future though.
You have your backup with the same provider?
And since they migrated at the same time I have to wonder ... at the same location?
Looks like Dallas is in play, too.
I've a VPS on DAL10GKVM10 and noticed yesterday the control panel was showing both the old 198.12.70.X IP and a new 149.57.207.X IP. That was enough to prod me into running a before yabs and verify my backups.
Today the control panel is giving me the "The node is currently locked" message.
mtr to 149.57.207.1 looks good, so maybe I'm staying in Dallas.
(Yeah, I'd have preferred some official advance notice from Virmach about migrations, but considering the price and uptime I'm not mad.)
ATLANTA HAS FALLEN!!!! OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
sad.. but instead of putting business or important projects on vps, it is the best choice to use a dedicated server, the current situation is reflecting the shortcomings of vps
All being stuck tied to the same node, vps migrated to new node but it cannot be started or no new IP is assigned. Even Reconfigure Network but didn't work, and it is not even known if it will take more than a month to recover.
Consumers must be dissatisfied with this migration.
FFME006 any knows what is the status ?

@VirMach
Ticket #575197
Could you please take a look at this work order? Half a month ago, when I clicked the migration button, it was no longer online. I originally thought it was a node problem, but until the problem of this node in the network state has been solved, I still can't start the machine
Has anybody had the paid $3 or $5 migration done successfully lately? I'd like to do migration to Frankfurt even though it is a complete coin toss.
Is it just me that additional IPs are lost after scheduled migration?
me too
