I'm afraid that the PayPal dispute was your last realistic chance to get your money back.
If I may say so, I don't understand why you sent @Pappeske money without first seeing proof that he had the server.
It's not as though @Pappeske were a long-term, trusted participant here.
@Pappeske should be banned for this circus.
if you dropped it then this face will haunt you for ever
Rule 1. of Paypal, if you open a dispute, never close it.
If you close it, you fuck yourself, because Paypal sees the case as solved if you close it.
The Seller can always click refund xx monay on the dispute.
You could no idea if they buy the story, contact Paypal, tell them you got scammed and they may get your money back.
Okay, thanks guys, I can't reply to all of them, I'm here to say that I didn't cancel the dispute, I almost did
Friend, do you have 2 ks-le? I mean 8tb of storage and 1G of uplink
yes yes, don't talk. just send him money first. ;-P
he shakes and pays when he sees the 8/1 number.
that will be $400 please.
in reality, my bad I didn't see the 8TB storage part. i do not have those disks.
Thay's the only intelligent thing you've done so far
I really feel sad for you. Why not just get SYS-1-SAT-32?
Assuming you paid 200 Euros, as you stated earlier, you could have got a SYS-1-SAT32 for 2 years, while paying same as kimsufi KS-LE server. 15 Euro= KS-LE. SYS-1-SAT32=23 Euros. Difference = 8 Euros. 24x8Euro = 192 (What you paid for transfer).
And that would have a guaranteed better network and 8TB storage (You may even be lucky enough to have 10G speed/16T Storage).
And after 2 years, you can bet there will be a better server for what KS-LE costs.
That's the best thing to do now as other mentioned you didn't cancel the dispute, it will be very difficult or impossible to get the money back from Paypal otherwise.
Stop sending that amount of money that easily to people , just try to get the lotto yourself if ure ready to commit money that easily just get some SYS-1/2
Please let us know what happens
here also to me
US/CA Account
after the above news i am sure some had this face
Reading that conversation alone makes my blood boil, imagine being that desperate to scam someone for $200. Then again, you both need to learn a lesson from this mess.
is it safe now ? dunno why people (mjj ?) looking for me
no. you'll be sold and transferred. if need be including the full account ;-)
Before this I already had a sys 16T with 1G rate, I was looking for a ks-le, after all the renewal price is very good
Well then why didn't you just keep the SYS? The $200/€200 you're willing to throw around here would have paid for a whole 2 years difference in cost between that SYS and the KS-LE, as beautifully explained above. For those 2 years you would be paying literally nothing extra for twice the storage, and not have to deal with charging back strangers on the internet who take advantage of the offer and steal your 200 bucks.
You shouldn't obssess over KS-LE to this extent, it doesn't make any sense from a financial perspective unless you planned to keep it for years and years and years (By which time a better deal will come up that you can switch to)
It's clear that @Pappeske is trying to scam @doulala , perhaps a mod can chip in and giving appropriate punishment. @FAT32 ?
Banning the guy at this point would leave @doulala with no point of contact (although they could possibly interact on the dispute discussion)
He did say, he will not respond to him again.
I probably did get too obsessed with ks-le, which is a bad thing for me.
When I first started posting this, a lot of people didn't think much of me as a newbie, then @Pappeske said he had a machine and messaged me saying it would cost 200 euros instead of dollars, I thought about it and agreed
Then I started to confirm if the other person had a machine and he replied that he had a machine, he was just working outside and not at home and would be home in 12 hours to help me confirm the script for yabs.
Then I consulted the other party left a paypal account, the other party also said directly that many people posting are not willing to trade, to pay me to confirm this side of the transaction.
I think paypal has a dispute can restrain the other party to make excessive behavior, and did not think much about it paid 200 euros, and reminded the other party to come back the first time to show me the yabs script on the confirmation mode
Then it was endless waiting, occasionally online but not to my yabs script to run the score, I began to realize the seriousness of the problem, I control myself not to think so,
This is pretty obvious scamming efforts imho. Assuming your story/timeline is correct.
You're here as a new registered individual who is unknown to the community asking for more limited-edition servers (where the company that runs these promotions have stated they no longer offer transfers).
Some people have told you that a new account isn't trustworthy, but that doesn't mean you should give up everything just to get others to trust you.
The way I see it, @Pappeske has done a classic scam.
They scammed you. Plain and simple is how I see it.
Hindsight will always be 20/20. So what are the next steps?
Based on the screenshots OP does seem to be a MJJ. I don't know who to dislike now.
You seem to be talking about people of color
Quite the circus. If I didn't look back and look through @Pappeske's profile, I would've thought it was just two people trying to play LET for fools for some odd reason. I'm not sure what there would be to gain by telling other people you were scammed for $200 over a Kimsufi server, and frankly, I don't know how innocent you would be for that level of naivety anyway.
