Why do you need a template? Just mount an Ubuntu 20 ISO using the tool they provide, set the boot priority to boot from CD first, and install it as you normally would. This is available on both the old and new sites.
The BF 2021 servers should be in cloud.* and pre-BF 2021 servers should still be in manage.*.
I did try it, but didn't work for some reason. Its easier and saves a lot of time when the template is there.

Open ticket to be migrated to cloud; or upload a Linux ISO of Ubuntu and install from ISO.
I opened a ticket, but from their reply I think they want to migrate my account at the end of January. I tried installing it from an Iso but didn't work for me.

IKR, I have a 40GBPS bare metal server in the same datacenter (Equinix AM5) and I'm able to saturate the VPS disk speed through a NFS mount. I ended up limiting the mount to be only 5GBPS to be a considerate neighbor though

If only HostHatch would not ask for transfer fee. Maybe people would want to transfer their undelivered services, so that others (who have time to wait) may buy these services, making everybody happy in the process.
only there is a small problem, they do not respond to tickets, wait for the server will be faster than get an answer about the transfer

If they don't have time to provision the service, they don't have time to transfer accounts
