This post just annihilated some fanatizm:

Suggest to read everyone for TLDR.
Written in the best Romglish, of course.
(Yes, I am crap at French, Spanish, German and Japanese; can't even understand Gaelic, FFS)
@LTniger is definitely one of them. Just dirty and always putting oil into the fire.
But probably the BS he linked to really is his subjective resumé.
That said I'm grateful to @serverian for putting out the bait that provided me with a list of 28 users that have something in common ...
They may turn and bend it as they please, but at the end it turned out that my take came quite close to the reality, massively closer than their barking and slandering.
Have you noticed that we have been communicating publicly and per mail with customers all this time and have informed all customers within a few hours? All affected customers (a handful) were also in direct contact with us.
So I see this as confirmation that it is always possible to communicate with the customers. No one here has ever demanded individual answers for all customers (which you would obviously have demanded from us).
I don't see how that compares at all.
now which take is yours in all that? please provide a link, if you want to discuss further.
also, which reality? the one @cociu wrote up in a comment here without any evidence to anything? I see...
Someone needed to put that bluntly, thank you.
Let's see how @jsg gets around this.
His defence mechanism has bug and looping. There is nothing we can do. @serverian destroyed him and yet he regenerates to continue vicious cycle.
That "BS" has been written to help you get a sense of the real world where there are no Romanian princes on their white horses rushing to hold you in their arms and comforting you while you keep repeating to yourself that everybody is stupid except you and your very educated and intelligent imaginary friends.
Let me know the number of users who have something in common with you.
What was your take exactly? What are you imagining again? I've proved you have been wrong a lot of times already. You changed your take whenever an update posted here.
My post was about you, not Marius. Don't try to hide behind him.
I have been quietly watching the thread until I got fed up to your nonsense. Not his.
Im more interested in this part. People "turn and bend" exactly how information gathers around them.
That's really sad. I saw jsg as a trusted member of this community and his word had some weight, at least for me. With his posts here he has ruined that, for me - and he will hardly care - but also for the rest of the community he is probably a clown now.
I didn't respond to @seriesn because I value and like him but as you warm it up again: That statement from seriesn was, pardon me, plain BS.
I did not defend @cociu and your false assertion doesn't get true by blindly repeating it.
Anyone with some working brain cells will find multiple clear statements from me that clearly demonstrate that I did not defend cociu. I merely refused to join your "burn him!" crusade, that is my "crime".
@Falzo, @serverian, and others:
The point you consistently fail to get is that this thread is not about "Do you like jsg" or "What weight do jsg's posts carry with you?".
You dislike me and try to argue against me simply because I refused - and continue to refuse - to play your, pardon me, primitive games.
Unlike you, my interest was and is not to adjudge or excoriate cociu but to understand what was/is going on there. If that disqualifies me to be accepted, let alone liked, by you, so be it. In fact I thank you for it.
P.S. Being a customer and paying $5, $50 or even $500 gives you certain rights - but not the right to publicly adjudge a provider as a person nor the right to publish subjective speculation as facts, even as allegations.
There is no games. You are just bitter because you have been exposed.
I'm done really. Scene is all yours. Keep feeding people with your tasty bullshit. I'm sure you think you have a lot of buyers left here.
I'd appreciate if you don't rope me back into this.
@jsg is right and everyone else is stupid or shilling.
I am with @jsg on this thread, because he is right.
No, people argue against you because frankly your point of view on this matter is just absurd and very hard to understand. It has nothing to do with dislike or playing games, most people simply does not agree with you.
In regards to dislike I can only speak for myself and as I said before, I have a lot of respect for your knowledge in purely technical matters, but when it comes to less technical discussions I often find you quite obnoxious and stubborn, to be honest. This does not mean I dislike you, you will probably have a hard time to find anyone as accepting as I am when it comes to different personalities and the fact that we are all different, so mostly I just chose to ignore your opinion on stuff other then purely technical. Sometimes I might throw in a little disagreement just to stir things up, but hey, that's what forums are for, right? No offence, I still like you.
I get your argument that you are not defending cociu and you are only looking for "fairness", and yes, I admit that it kind of leaves a bad smell when other providers kick a provider when his down, but c'mon, on a "not cool" scale of 1 to 1000, what cociu is doing is like 998, and what the other providers do is like a 4, maybe 5.
And just to convey my view on "refuge offers".
To make an offer to people that have had their services down for a month and that has received no information or notice whatsoever from their provider on the current state of business, I really see nothing wrong with that. If the customers are happy and everything works they will not leave their current provider, so if such an offers attracts a lot of customers their former provider obviously did something wrong. In this case, cociu even sold the ip's of his current customers, so I must say that I do not feel at all sorry for him if they move elsewhere.
Actually, there is no right or wrong. It's all a question on where on the asshole scale to place cociu. Some people have him at the absolute top, the biggest bag of shit that ever existed, while some people are more understanding and settles somewhere around moderate ass wipe. Of course this sparkles debate, since the ass wipe advocates thinks that the biggest bag of shit voters are assholes too just for placing cociu there, and vice versa.
Maybe not surprising to you but to quite a few others here: I fully agree - and I said it multiple times and unmistakably clear: @cocius (lack of) communication and his behaviour in this matter were absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. Or in your terms, 998 on a 1 - 1000 scale.
That's not how I see it but my criticism of a few providers in this matter wasn't a main concern anyway but more of a side note, so I wont start a discussion on that and simply note that the grades the two of us would hand out are different.
Funny because, you see, I'm actually one of those who would place him near the (negative) top, just like you and many others. The point that seems to divide some users and me is that their focus seems to be more "crucify the scammer!!" while mine is more on "hell, what really happened there and how?" plus, I have to admit, a strong dislike for mobs and mob justice.
But regarding the core issue ("has cociu behaved utterly unacceptably, even disgustingly?") we are actually on the same page - but the "crucify him!" zealots just don't get it; all they see is "he is defending the scammer (crucify him too!)".
Btw, thank you for re-introducing some civility and reason in this thing here.
My VPS is not a 'storage VPS plan' and it's not working a month ago. I not received a 'renewal invoice' before the renewal / expiration time. My VPS became offline before the expiration time (so it mean for me, it affected in this HDD/storage incident). I created only ONE ticket (15/05/2021) before the service expiration time (Ticket ID: #596538), and I updated the same ticket two times in the last 30 days. I never got any answer to my request. Later I received an invoice with updated extra 'late fee' in 04/06/2021. My VM still offline, I have an unpaid invoice (for the not working VM) with 'late fee'. And now my ticket has been disappeared from Your system. (but I have a screenshot from the full ticket). I'm not happy.
tickets were just removed. I can attest that mine was deleted.
Just be thankful you didn't pay the renewal and then lose the service. You've got backups of your storage VPS so you'll be fine!
Yes it's true. Not a big 'loss'. It's just little frustrating. Yes, I have backup And like I said, it's not a 'storage VPS plan'. It's a standard VPS (It was only 25GB disk quota).
Lol
I'm more thinking cociu scale:
incompetence (998) > malice (like a 4 or 5). He's just not cut out for this.
70+ more pages until cociu’s next reply.
What's the status of this lawsuit? @dahartigan
I guess this Monday we will find out...
Full disclosure: I work for cociu and I sabotage alexvolk.
Stuck in Miami an extra week due to freight delays. Been posting some rack porn on discord for those interested.
Will start on it next week.
Francisco
I don't have any services from HS but I really hope cociu pulls through. He seems like a good enough guy, although who knows, maybe it could be a scam. He just seems like the kinda person you'd want to root for.
