  • I cannot checkout... will probably lose what I have at my cart... but hey, that's life.

This is a huge improvement over the previous server. People were able to purchase 77/90 (85%) of the quantities set for this package in a short period of time whereas for others it would timeout and glitch for a longer period of time and people would end up getting less than 5% of the available packages.

We'll continue improving this; the developer is also on so he'll improve the flash sale script as well since it seems to be getting stuck a lot.

  • Hmm, I'm still getting cloudflare errors stuck on payment.....

  • yoursunnyyoursunny Member, IPv6 Advocate

    Too good to be true:

    $8.88/yr
    KVM - 1 GIGABIT
    1920MB RAM
    2 vCORE
    45GB SSD (RAID 10)
    1000GB BANDWIDTH
    LOS ANGELES, CA LOCATION
    1 DEDICATED IPv4

It would be a nice Nextcloud box.

    But billing panel is broken.

  • I still can never actually add anything to cart xD

  • I don't see any improvement lol.

  • Client area seems way faster for me

We substantially reduced these but it'll take a bit for the reductions to kick in.

I can tell you that we successfully served 20x the amount of people in the same time period and nothing has crashed on our end. Pages are timing out, yes, due to Cloudflare's max limit, but this is definitely already a massive improvement.

  • @VirMach said: Anyway, the new webserver is almost up so maintenance should be complete soon.

Good to know, thanks for your answer!

    Paid and got one.
Edit: didn't get it, paid invoice but no service shown

  • Think many people are having issues with the billing. I could add to card but never checkout.

  • *cart , blame autocorrect? :p

@VirMach What if I paid the invoice but didn't get any service. Should I open a ticket ask for service or get a refund.
Edit: found the service but it's pending now.

Hi, just open a ticket letting us know and include as much details as possible and we'll process it depending on what happened.

This has reached the quantity limit as of now, I'm going to cycle through some old sales until our developer can fix the most recent bug (it's not generating further sales.)

  • @VirMach It's ok, I was refreshing for one hour but could never have billing move over.
Btw, I've also been trying to add funds for future deals, can't add funds either...
Cloudflare shows: error 524, host error.

    Hi @VirMach
    What happened this year?
I’ve been a customer and have picked up a few services over the last few years.
The $8.88 deal was really good and I really wanted to pick it up. But it’s either some server issue or the aggressive cloudflare which rained on my intentions.

I’m not shitting on you, but genuinely curious.

Also, is the 8.88 deal happening again?

Thanks! I just found my pending service through long long waiting. Seems I need more patience before opening tickets.

i had purchase 8.88 promo and paid, already 1.5hr and i did not see any service provided..
also, CF 524 is shown too often when i F5...
i must say, as a new client, i am a wee bit uncomfortable having not even guarantee to enter client area and monitor if my service is provision.

  • well
    client area have some issues

It shows me this BIG PICTURE all the time. So sad.

  • Is this normal for Virmach? I thought they were a good provider by how much some people go on about them around here. But everything in this thread seems a mess.

  • ppl commenting negative things about virmach need to understand they're a bottom of the barrel provider, the prices are cheap, it's mostly automated, and you can expect a mid to lower tier experience. in short it's good for the price but don't expect too much and it's fine.
