    @hosthatch

What will be the cost of additional bandwidth there ??? One can upgraded BW for a month??

  • @hosthatch said:
We are going to upgrade our standard plans starting from the new year though, so they will have incredible value....think something like Hetzner's plans (I'm a big fan of their cost/performance/reliability ratio), but in 15+ locations.

Standard means non-flashsale or non-promotional package? What resources will be upgraded (not network I suppose)?

Looking for a low mem (2GB) personal cloud solution for sycing photos, videos and files to run on the storage VM. tried nextcloud too bulky and slow, also tried owncloud, difficult...need a more nimble and simple solution, please suggest

FileRun is my GoTo solutions if you do not need plugins.

    I second this

$4/month for an extra TB. The smallest amount you can add is an extra 0.5 TB for $2/month. If you have the server already, it's in the control panel on the bandwidth tab

Nabbed one of these as I missed the earlier BF storage deals. Thanks for sharing a nice holiday surprise!

If I might humbly request that something similar to the BF storage might return someday, that would be lovely. I love the idea of being able to increase my storage down the road at the same promotional price that I paid. Or maybe the ability to double up your existing service (i.e. 2TB -> 4TB, $180/2y).

  • Stockholm (250 GB) $30/2y

I can't... The numbers are so close and I can only get that it's probably europe.
Maybe Warsaw? (guessed from your comment history)

I know there's a lot of marketing with "buy in the next 60 minutes", and the 60 minutes keep getting extended and never end - we don't do that.

Not even an extra 9 minutes? :D

Our 2TB got provisioned already! Thank You.

Can’t we sell our old 1TB in London does anyone know please?

The VPS was provisioned 30 minutes after payment, and my first ticket was answered (and solved) in 15 minutes. Doesn't look like there's any room for complaints!

Oh, wait, there is: the email saying that the ticket had been answered arrived several hours later...

envy your IPv6, bigger RAM, and you IOPS

I believe IPv6 is available in all locations, is it not? Have you tried opening a ticket?

    I used to have:

    1 CPU core (15% dedicated)
    512 MB RAM
    8 GB NVMe disk (RAID-10)
    1 TB bandwidth
    $15 per year
Free upgrade with double RAM, double disk, and 5x bandwidth
Free 40 Gbps DDoS protection available on request

But didn't enjoy it as much as I expected. This one, apart from just being bigger, feels so much snappier.

No. 4 is enough for my operation, and easy to remember. This is the first time I see 6 speed test.

  • Free 40 Gbps DDoS protection available on request

One needs to request for DDoS protection or is that by default?
I've 2TB storage box in AMS.

There is no anti-DDoS available for storage servers as they aren't meant to be used for any compute stuff.

He said used to have so I doubt the offer for " Free 40 Gbps DDoS protection " is still a thing

40GBit/s in all locations (also new locations like MIL and MAD)?

Ohh just noticed it's about DDoS protection in AMS and not port speed upgrade. Anyways, any news in the port speed?

Is it only the same type that can be stacked, or could I (for example) get one VPS with 16 GB RAM and another with 2 GB RAM in the same location and stack those two together? Interested in the 16 GB RAM / 80 GB NVMe but with a bit more space.
