I'm glad I quickly refunded my order... Damn seems like total chaos here.

And here I am, with OpenVZ #2:
    uptime 2 days, 22:54

I jinxed it: it was just offline, I don't know why. I restarted it, and hope this won't require my attention every few days.

Hi everybody, well that was not how it should have been. The OS images (templates for KVM) were first corrupt causing the I/O errors. After re-importing the right OS'ses and fixing the right partitions they worked again (issue was mostly with Debian and Ubuntu).

I am deeply sorry for any delay, issues or frustration caused. It was meant as a great and fun blackfriday offer and it turned out, for some people, as a long wait.

Thanks for all your ongoing patience. I am sorry I have not been active on this topic much today as we are working hard on answering all tickets asap. If any questions please PM me your ticket id so I can up it in the queue.

Regarding any speed issues; settings are being tweaked and should improve in a short period of time.

    Thanks all!

Unfortunately my KVM VPS #1 on kvmmain01 is still bad.
I gave it another shot today, reinstalled Debian 9 since Debian 10 was not working.
Did an apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade to get up to the latest on deb9 and got disconnected in the middle of the dist-upgrade.
I really wanted to give this a fair chance but it's not working out.

I have to admit that my experience is positive (but not flawless) after a few hours of fiddling and problems are pretty much gone after I installed my own ISO. (Devuan Beowulf)
Support has been helpful and responsive after I reported the problems I found on the VPS. I am still waiting for IPv6, though.

Yes I heard about your ticket for VNC. It's being worked on as well.

@VPSSLIM The VM did get provisioned, but it was just unusable. Took a good 2 minutes for 'yum update' to actually start doing something. I waited for 5 minutes for it to update the repos, before just losing patience and filling in the cancellation request and updating the ticket.

Regardless, thanks for trying to help out. May try the services some other time, I guess?

I got my KVM 1GB vps today. But...

    • No IPv6?
    • RAM : 818.7 MiB
  • @VPSSLIM few Query regading 4GB KVM:

    1. There is a difference in RAM amount from as per free -m in CentOS 8.2 (3778) and Ububtu 20.04 ( 39xx), is it OS based or something to do with OS Template?
    2. Virtualizor is extremely to slow to open the VPS management page, is it a problem with the CP or is it your system
    3. Can you add Windows in the OS install list as well?

Thanks for offering to help again, but we had already been in touch over PM regarding the same thing over the last few days.

However, despite your best efforts, lots of people seem to still be having the exact same issues. So, I guess I will stick with the cancellation request that I had placed yesterday. No offence intended.

Here's my benchmark for VPS OpenVZ #2. When I just registered it, it was much faster (until it went down twice). I guess I entered an almost empty server at that time, and I'm now more getting the performance that should be expected at this price. I'm okay with that, it does what I need it for. I do hope it doesn't get slower though, but uptime is most important.
If I compare to the benchmark in the post above, the KVM is about 10 times faster. I'm kinda new to this: is this to be expected?
And for future planning: @VPSSLIM If I'd buy the same VPS full price, would I be on the same server or would I get better performance?

    Hi,

We are tweaking the server. There were a few users who were abusing resources which will be cancelled so you are not the victim of noisy neighbours.

    Thanked by 2_Nic steny
  • How much cost to add 1 ram? 1 core? storage?
HAve ddos protect ? good for running game servers?

Can you tell what counts as abuse? I'd like to make sure I'm not one of the noisy neighbours.
I'd be totally fine adding cpulimit to my weekly task to reduce load and CPU usage if needed (but it is more work so only when needed).

You can open a sales ticket for this and we'll look into your upgrade request for the correct pricing.

  • at last finally i made my payment with so much hassle. First there was billing invoice issue, after that font issue. And then there was crypto payment issue because bitpay is banned in out country that is why the payment gateway was not working. thus it was stuck on please wait page. But there is another problem @VPSSLIM 0 service showing in my account.

  • Dear @VPSSLIM!

I have performance problems on my machine. I have packet loss, and all tasks (SSH console, APT tasks) are very slow. The VM is near unusable in this state.

Can you help me? I think it is a very good offer for this price so I know that problems might occur, but in currently state it is hard to use...

I have the same. I installed a zabbix-agent to monitor the vps: there are gaps in the zabbix graphs, the zabbix-agent looses network connections regularly. Disk performance is slow and high CPU steal time, which indicates that the node is overloaded.
