    Wow, read-only system...
    Support says after a day:

    Hi,

The OS template was corrupt. Please re install the OS.

I reinstalled the OS with a different one, same result... Retrying right now but is the same..

Please PM me your ticket ID so I can look into it right away as well.

Ticket #397142, i will send now a PM also.

  • Got also the same answer for a different question. VNC isn't working please help: #820369

It seems we are all on the same boat. Read-only disk here, too.
It seems they changed from SolusVM to Virtualizor.

Edit: VNC console doesn't work either.

  • No matter what they do my VPS will not boot. On top of the read only problems and delay to delivery it's a huge joke...

  • I am on the same boat, 3 days not able to update first and access at all right now, I'll ask refund

  • what is the promo code it is not updating price at checkout

  • 4 days waiting, they reply and seems ok, but
10 minutes after some test, update and init a service
    .
    .
    'Read-only file system'
    can't use it anymore.

Same after reinstall with Debian 10, Centos 7, Ubuntu 18.04. only 10 minutes to switch on read only.
    Very good @VPSSLIM

  • @VPSSLIM Ticket #720110. 4 days and still.

    VPS OpenVZ #2 - €9.95 €1.50

    - 2x Intel Xeon CPU
    - 4 GB RAM
    - 150 GB SSD
    - 5 TB bandwidth

it would be sweeter if that came with Swap space like the KVM ones !

It does, same amount as RAM it has in swap :)

Mine has zero swap allocated for openvz#2. Ticket #358055
    And #753277

  • Hi @VPSSLIM

@VPSSLIM same situation as others. can't update either ubuntu/debian because of read-only filesystem error. should i be raising a ticket? or is it a general fix for everyone? don't wanna burden your support as you all already have lots of tickets pending probably

Yes tickets are being handled. Seems to be isolated to a few VMs and is being fixed.

Mine as well, mate. It was provisioned 3 days ago, but never came online at all.

Ticketed in, but it hasn't been replied to in 3 days either - TID 343268. Would appreciate some help, or at-least a realistic ETA on the same.

    Thanks.

Hi, your VM will be set to another node today. Sorry for the wait!

Haven't received an update yet. The ticket still hasn't been replied to, and the VM continues to be offline / inaccessible for 4 days now.

Would really appreciate a realistic ETA, instead of the runaround. Thanks.

  • Same for me VM offline, ticket Opened #787552

    Waiting for a reply

  • @vpsslim buddy no getting promotion price at checkout. Am I missing a trick?

  • VM Offline too, they can't fix

My KVM 4G working. Disk is slow, CPU not very fast, but network is pretty good and maybe disk speed after this avalanche of sales and tickets it will be better. If so - price is yummy and i'm will keep it )
    Good luck guys )

  • Just logged in to my new VPS with VPSSlim today. A few things I initially noticed.

    • I asked for Debian but got CentOS so will have to reinstall
    • Time was set to Indian Standard Time for some reason (Server in Netherlands, I'm in the UK)
    • Then there was this message on first login:

Last failed login: Mon Nov 30 17:10:37 IST 2020 from 49.88.112.65 on ssh:notty
There were 1287 failed login attempts since the last successful login.

The IP address listed isn't mine, its a China Telecom one and the last unsuccessful login was about a minute before I logged in for the first time. I got the provisioned email 21:51 GMT on Saturday.

Nothing is exactly filling me with confidence. I bought with very low expectations though for a project where performance doesn't matter at the moment, so will see how things go.

    Anyway, some benchmarks...

I think it's still pretty good for the price.
Problems with templates, i'm sure will be gone.
We all do mistakes. Cheer up, guys.

  • After some struggling in the beginning (no access to control panel nor VPS) that has been sorted out within about 10h after ordering, I am quiet pleased for the price asked.

Am using OpenVZ#2 offer. Not the fastest disk, not the fastest machine - but that was to expect. As long as it is reliable online, it will be sufficient for my planned projects.

    Could you please enable fuse?
it is one minute of work...

Please enable fuse on the openvz hardware node first. Do:
