  • My VPS is working fine and I have even installed NextCloud. Just trying yo fix some NextCloud permission issues as this is the first time I am using it.

What do you guys need IPv4 for? IPv6 performs the same.

(just make sure you upgrade existing IPv5, it was buggy)

For starters, how would you install any scripts that are hosted on Github?

  • Easy : just contact the developer and tell 'em how tragically stupid they are for using that shite called MicrosoftHub, then use something developed by competent people. Who will very likely host it on dual-stack servers because, well, it's 2019.

You transfer over the scripts and install them.

P.D. If you don't have IPv6, buy some cheap VPS -> http://cdn.gullo.me/cam/gh-bf-cm-2019/ and connect from there

    I know it is late
but we just added ipv6 to our LG
    http://ping.servarica.com/

the task was there and we just managed to do it

  • Shot2 said: What do you guys need IPv4 for? IPv6 performs the same.

because ISP doesnt provide me ipv6? i access it via openvpn, and works great.

Well, unless there's only one retarded ISP in your barbaric country, you chose it unwisely so deal with it ;)

Perfect!... I was testing some routes over @Cam LG ... The thing is im getting better ping with IPv4 than IPv6, mtr6 show packets go to NJ? ... I mean, it's like 2ms (IPv4) vs 24ms (IPv6)

It's even worse than that, OVH sends stuff all the way down to Ashburn, VA.

Probably because there are too few Canadjuns out there, all the more so using IPv6 - better serve Murica first and foremost :P

edit: OTOH, Servarica/eStrux being single-homed certainly does not help either

It's annoying but I pull the docker image on a local server or one that's dual stack, save the image as a tar and transfer it to the server then load it and make the container.

Not lucky, its a pay addon ;-)

No, I know this is a pay addon, but as I know, several users got ipv4 without pay any additional fee.

If this is due to some bug in provisioning softeare then I guess @servarica_hani will remove it once they find out.

it was a wrong configuration actually
and initially we decided to remove it then we decided to man up to our mistake and keep it for those users

so who ever got it with ipv4 will keep it :)

you never know we may do other mistakes in the future :)

And yet, you removed my IPv4, a few days after it was offered.

To others: expect it to not work and have IPv4 removed any moment.

  • My transfer finally finished to the storage VPS.... more bandwidth free for others now.

  • Bought 700gb shared from hani. But there is no option to select mbstring, imagick etc. Installed a few scripts using Softaculous. But it failed as there are no necessary modules. All other features are there. But php modules are most important.

open a ticket and ask for the modules you need

Yes, I did it the same but it's damn annoying to do so after every update.
Is there any reason why docker and github don't support IPv6? The standard is over 20 years old.

btw. The servarica support is awesome!

    My isp doesn't support ipv6, here's what I did:
    1. first, I point a domain to the ipv6 of my mouse plan through Cloudflare, use AAAA record.
    2. then, I connect to my VPS on Linode via a terminal program.
    3. then I connect to the mouse plan through my Linode VPS, (ssh root@ipv6-address-of-mouse), and install Nextcloud.
    4. lastly, use the domain in #1 to configure and run Nextcloud.

PS: Linode offers $100 credit for every new account at this time, use coupon 'CYBER1009019' during checkout to get it.

Create a Linode account here (my aff)

If the above code isn't working, try 'PodcastInIt2019' to get $20.

    Hope this helps!

    25gb SSD disk
    100mbps with 2TB limit
    1 ipv4 included

EDIT: By mistake I wrote NVMe while the disks here are SSD disks connected to PCI slot so they are fast and reliable SSD but technically they cannot be called NVMe

Welcome to the world of IPv6 reality.

  • They have social responsibility to promote ipv6 just as to promote https.

Someone has to pay money to replace hardware. There is natural disincentive to do that.

It would also help confidence if servarica were listed here:
