    mine just work with openvpn.

First, get the script and make it executable :

    curl -O https://raw.githubusercontent.com/angristan/openvpn-install/master/openvpn-install.sh
    chmod +x openvpn-install.sh
    Then run it :

    ./openvpn-install.sh
You need to run the script as root and have the TUN module enabled.

i tested on digitalocean and vultr server and it worked on both!

Curious to know how were you able to run the script? Github doesn't support ipv6 yet so running above command wouldn't have provided any results.

Looks like the throughput speeds have kind of slowed to a crawl. Guess too many people signed up and took advantage of this.

made some network tests just now, seems the outbound has some issue, it's slow and not stable, only 1-2MB/s many times, but the inbound has no any issue, can reach 100Mps anytime.

ps:the tests were made on the kimsufi dedicated server at canada.

We're gonna need a bigger pipe.

Shows STL25 is basically unresponsive.... but doesn't seem like that node has been used for anything ever

please open a ticket with ping and trace route so we can investigate

the issue seems ipv6 only as the link is under utilized so it inot pipe issue
    also ipv4 has zero issue

for everything we offer except for mouse storage offers and NVMe offers we always have HA setup
That mean we take sometimes nodes for maintenance or reboot to install upgrades and not a single user even is aware since we move users between servers before doing that

I have done wget from this link and it looks like we max the connection
    wget -O /dev/null http://[~snipped~]/100mb.TesT

also i am doing ping -6 ipv6.google.com for some time with no packet loss
so i think some networks has packet loss as it is not general issue

thats why i need ping and traceroute info to investigate

  • Thanks for looking into it. It seems to be a transient issue -- the problem has gone away for the moment.

  • I noticed that the Single Day 11 Storage offer does not actually offer ipv6 in the description (/64). Is that intentional?

    it is free by request
probably we should add it by default that users now know what is ipv6

perhaps it's the ipv6 only issue, but we have no ipv4 on this server, so we can't judge it.

ps: I know some lucky users also got the ipv4 address on the Mouse Storage VPS  but I'm not so lucky :(

Not lucky, its a pay addon ;-)

    3) we are forced to remove the included IPv4 and make it extra . as we couldnt fit the plan with usable resources while having the IPv4 included (you can add it for extra when ordering)

No, I know this is a pay addon, but as I know, several users got ipv4 without pay any additional fee.

If this is due to some bug in provisioning softeare then I guess @servarica_hani will remove it once they find out.

it was a wrong configuration actually
and initially we decided to remove it then we decided to man up to our mistake and keep it for those users

so who ever got it with ipv4 will keep it :)

you never know we may do other mistakes in the future :)

  • Look at it this way: It's a chance for many to be forced to learn IPv6 configuration on their servers.

  • What do you guys need IPv4 for? IPv6 performs the same.

(just make sure you upgrade existing IPv5, it was buggy)
