Umax bothers me the most since they went out of their way to list their LA location as "LA Telecom Building – Los Angeles, California, United States", which is probably true, but ultimately it's just resold CC if you check the IP ownership.

For the people who got their refunds, which reason did you go with? I think I did it as product not delivered.
I used object/service not delivered and used the following text:

I have received the refund I asked for a few days ago. I chose non-delivery and asked for $8 back (4 months into 1 year plan) and they requested info from HiFormance, then decided in my favor.
After I file charge back with my bank. Paypal sent me this email:

Seems colocrossing will be going direct to customer for VPS sales soon:
No mentions of price, but i'm assuming it'll fill in for many of the providers you see on here.
In the end, if they can sell a node full of cheapo VPS customers for a littel more than they would leasing it to someone, they just need to hire some additional staff for support tickets.

I suppose you have a slightly higher chance of not being scammed directly by CC as opposed to their summerhost resellers.

Lovely to see all this happen. During black friday I picked up a openvz and kvm from virmach. Transfered all my goods and shutdown the 5 or so servers I had with Hiformance as well as one with n3servers. Glad I left when I did.

Fuck paint thinner. I had a shop teacher in high school who had me get the paint off my hands by rinsing them with paint thinner. Was a bad rest of the day.
If it's barrel strength should be no problem.

I would similarly choose to deal with paint thinner, rather than a thin painter.

I only bought from hiformance because of the trust I have for LEB. Maybe LEB should be bit more careful from now on about these shady companies. Or may be even have some requirements before being able to post these kind of offers.
