Great name for a protocol
I have been very happy that VirBot's new minimum disk space is 15GB instead of 5GB.
The one just now was even better
$17.35/yr - LOS ANGELES, CA / 4 vCPU / 256M RAM / 20G SSD / 500G BW / 1 IPs
https://billing.virmach.com/cart.php?a=add&pid=179&billingcycle=annually
yes, 256 RAM or 5GB disk is not really useful any more, except as a toy.
Nice
No. It got to the point where servers are not only sharing the same bed, but they also steal the dreams from one another.
Really struggling with the disk space on these deals. I was a sucker for the migration specials and stocked up on the 3CPU ones.
Hey, today is Friday
Oh that's bad.
Put them to sleep then.
Fuck off, 10 hours.
And tomorrow's Saturday. Unless you're workaholic, then tomorrow's Monday.
Btw... I feel it is quite unlikely for VirMach to provide more below $5/yr VPS because IP price raised a lot lately...
Try to keep your expectation lower to avoid disappointment, I believe it will be the same during BF/CM for all providers as well
In fact, all VPS below $12 on VirMach is quite interesting already
Chicago, Amsterdam, and Dallas seem good in use and network testing.
Seattle was a disappointment, Looking forward to the future co-lo in Seattle.
No AES on any of the new VPSes.
Dual core or single core didn't make much of a difference in Geekbench 5 Benchmark.
Still looking for the right San Jose VPS.
What new VPSes did you guys pick up?

@FrankZ I don't think we could find any 'good' San Jose deal this year ...
San Jose was a pleasant surprise for me last year and I really like the location / network. But the VPS I have there is light on disk space, so I am getting pretty tight. Everything I have seen so far is too much ram for the amount of disk space. So sad.
Seen plenty of LAX during this sale and athough it is a good location, surprisingly Los Angeles is not as good as San Jose for me. That and I already have three VirMachs VPSes, plus three other companies there so I am not looking for more in LAX right now. Seattle was an option I was going to check out but I think that is a bust after this first one.
Still hoping VirBot comes through for me.
If your listening VirBot 2 cores, 1.9GB RAM, 20GB disk, and 1TB transfer should do it.
EDIT: Thank you VirMach for the 2nd Black Friday sale. It was like having two birthdays
If your listening VirBot, San Jose, 2 cores, 2048MB RAM, 20GB disk, and 1TB transfer should do it too.
Maybe VirBot is just fucking with us.....
EDIT: Or maybe the San Jose VirBot has a very tiny disk
Which location is good for Canada btw?
seattle for west coast, buffalo for east, chicago for central
EDIT: What he said ^^
I currently have:
NY10GKVM96
1 core
384MB RAM
22GB SSD
100GB monthly transfer
$4.00/year
LA10GKVM17
2 cores
1920MB RAM
45GB SSD
1000GB monthly transfer
$8.88/year
I haven't seen anything better this week.
i will offer $10 to transfer this
45GB?! VirBot must have been drunk that night! Nice one.
Sadly I have also shopped too well the past few Black Fridays, so all of these good deals are not as good as my great deals. I still sprung for Netherlands though, since I didn't have any European VirMach yet.
Anyone want to arrange a swap/transfer party before BF?
@yoursunny - when you want to get rid of it you should take bids
I have the $4.95/yr LA offer with 1 core, 1gb ram, and 15gb ssd, 670 gb bandwidth lol.
sure thing.
@FrankZ quick your deal is up:

Close enough.
Order Number is: 2573560578
Please double my disk space
I have that too.. Premmm..
