Probably just like last time, one time discount and no recurring ones.
Please don't eat all cake
you mean 1 month discount?, sorry, I have no experience with OVH
Yes that is correct.
Does this reveal anything? https://www.ovh.com/ca/en/ovh-deals/js/deals.js
yea probably 90% off some shitty domain TLDs, 10% off everything else :P
Yeah that not everyone in the entire likes or runs javascript as a norm. Sorry if I am being snarky but that is kind of stupid of a company like OVH.
Sorry to disagree, but there were offers with recurring rebates as well last time.
Hmm, shows "Hosted Exchange 300", "Hosted exchange 50" and an office 365...
For whatever it is worth... We shall see.
I don't remember any recurring 50% discounts though. There were recurring discounts of 20% and amounts like that. And there were some 50% discounts (on VPS) that were non-recurring and I those were the best offers. I snagged one and could possibly be tempted into another if they do it again.
If you check out their deals-Twitter-feed it is really amazing how many totally and utterly useless TLDs exist and how it seems even worth the while to create tweets about them.
https://www.ovh.com/fr/ovh-deals/
Finding the FR/.com page wasn't that hard. 3 hours and 24 minutes remaining.
I seem to have one login that works for OVH IE / DE / UK / US / FR - is this correct or am I seeing some kind of weird redirect?
8 hours until I waste more money.
3! If you go to the .com site :P
Well what if he has a rule to not waste money until exactly 5 hours into the sale?
Then everything goes out of stock and he has no money to waste anymore xD
2! if you go to the .ie site
.ie & .de & .co.uk & .fr are all in the same "OVH-timezone". Only .com (Canada) differs.
Santa clause on his way doda
You are incorrect - there have been one time AND reoccurring discounts in the past.
On the scale with before, how does this compare to the last online.net sale with supercheap dedis?
Very unlikely OVH will have supercheap dedis that compete with Online's sale. I expect everything to be in the $30+ range.
That's already super cheap considering that im paying 50€ for E3 with 32GB RAM
ETA :50 minutes ,moving to OVH or I come back to Hetzner
Please Dont make Cheap Shitty domains more cheap .
Need dedis
This.. I'd be very happy to grab their legacy tier server for over half a price.. But i'm almost 100% sure that they will have mostly stupid and useless TLDs for sale and anything actually usable is only -20% at most.
20 minute to go
PM bro
