Geeze, it sounds like WHT is even more oblivious than the RIAA et al to the idea that an IP address does not equal a person. You'd think they might be more inclined to understand that little bit of fact being /web hosting/ talk, but I guess not
. Edit: at least in the sense that just b/c two ip addresses are in the same rough location does not mean it's the same person. Sounds like, from some of the posts in the thread, that WHT takes IP geolocation (which isn't even that accurate at the best of times) to the extreme? heh.

I have nothing really to say regarding the OP's issue specifically as my involvement with moderation is limited these days, but everyone should know that from WHT's perspective, there is almost always good reason for moderation actions to be taken against members. It's really easy to get caught up in the drama when only one side of the story is presented. I'm not saying this pertains directly to BlueVM or anything, but that's the way I see it. Obviously, we've made mistakes, but they are few and far between.
Oh and regular/premium/corp membership really doesn't matter when it comes to moderation. If you only knew how often prem/corporate members threaten to cancel their membership because they got an alert/infraction.

In all honesty, both WHT and LET shines at its own place. While WHT is bit more open with their actions rather than LET (Privately with persons related to it) but that is a different story.
