is it really take 45-60 mins to install os? or mine stucked in somewhere

When 200 people are trying to do an OS install I can imagine the image servers getting a bit overloaded :p

  • online.net allows torrenting ^ i mean its not like it stands in their faq if they allow it but im pushing tb's without a prob

It says "The installation is finishing on the hard disk, wait an hour before connecting", but I tried after a few minutes, and it was online already, no need to wait for the whole hour.

New accounts need to have the ticket validated and limit increased, you can generally order 1/2 then need the account verifying.

Ah, damn. Yeah, I figured that might be it. I mailed support asking if it was some new limit on the server or if it was just because it was my first order with them before coming here. =p

My ticket has been assigned to Heidi, apparently... no reply yet!

  • Managed to con a friend into letting me use his CC until I can get one sorted from the bank with 3dsecure.
Server was setup in 9 minutes, faster than most VPS providers I've used :D

Strangely enough on one server the HDD temperature is 33C, on the other it's 44C.
    What are your stats? Run

    smartctl -a /dev/sda | grep -e Power_On -e ^194
  • Delivered in less than 10 minutes, but I also couldn't order more than one. I opened a ticket to raise my quota and I'm installing it now with Debian7. Post some benchmarks here, also, when ready.

What an offer! For less than 2 euros per month, a dedi with undeterred traffic! Those boxes will me beautiful as restreamers of my live video and icecast streamings! Just can't wait!

    Just got mine delivered.

Ordered something like 5 minutes ago. I payed via Paypal (I allready had an account) without any problems.

However I can only order one server because I have reached my quota. Ticket is out asking for more :-)

    Let's see!

    EDIT:
    Ordered from Europe.

    EDIT 2:
Could raise my quota ordered the third one just a few second ago. This is fu**ing madness!
