lets hope the fabled ks1 n2800 pops up in bhs again. Saw some GRA become available over the weekend and some RBX just a few hours ago.

    Thanked by 1hotsnow
  • Thanks, just picked up a KS2, although i am being asked for validate my identity.

My ovh account, for my current ks2(from 2012) cant be used on the current kimsufi site, nor can I pay to just skip over this step.

Just don't try it between DCs, it sucks.

How are you managing to 'move' the ip to the other server?

is it possible to some other's vps ip to route traffic to kimsufi? I am sorry , if it is already answered and if you know the link so that to put me in the right direction

    Here you go.
It outputs any KS-1 offers that are currently available (and nothing when there aren't any), so you can run it as a cronjob to get an email from your cron daemon when it's worth going to the Kimsufi website.

In BHS most likely they will be D425.

I did get an N2800 in BHS, hopefully I'd be lucky this time again...

  • akzakz Member

    I got a D425.

  • ARG! I missed it and really want a KS1 in BHS!!

  • How long does these usually take for OVH to setup? I have 1 stuck in "Setup fee *001 In progress" for 2 days now.

Was wondering the same thing, seems you need to post in their forums with some information.

First time ordering an i3 and got instant approved with no issues.

    Customer validation

Orders may be subject to manual validation that require that you provide additional documents.
All documents should be sent as pdf-attachments to [email protected] .
When sending documents for order validation, it is possible to request VAT removal. Be sure to add VAT removal request in your email. VAT exemption is dependent on eligibility.

    Documents Required for order validation

Proof of Identity - A copy of any official photo identification such as drivers license, passport, etc.
Proof of residency - A copy of a utility bill(gas, electric, phone, etc.). The bill should include your name and address as it appears on your KS account.

If making payment by credit card, you may be required provide a copy of the credit card that is being used to make payment.
The name of the card holder should be visible as well as the first 4 digits and last 2 digits of the credit card.
All other digits can be covered, for security purposes. You documents are not kept on file and OVH, reserves the right to request documents at any time.

In the event that payment is being made by a person other than the KS account owner, the identity of the person making payment will be required.

If you create a company account you will also need to provide company registration documents.

So in other words you need to send all that stuff to their validation email even though I didn't need validation?

  • They assume VAT until proven otherwise.

VAT removal is 1-2 weeks if you are lucky, 3+ if you are not but before the next invoice is due (try uk support) and they should help you out depending on the situation.

  • Do they remove VAT for all future orders or just the 1 in question.

once your removed, its removed. My BHS order had zero VAT. If you are pre approved they will refund the VAT paid on invoices. (altho I have yet to see any refund to my paypal as of yet, but knowing their process could take another month to see)

    Thanked by 1Caveman122
  • Hmm so I just need to email that address with ID/bill/CC and hope they'll get it removed by the next invoice? Seems legit.
