KS-2 is currently available in BHS.

    Ok. got mine. Defo BHS.

EDIT: And it is the D425 CPU (not N2800 as on the invoice)

I was lucky enough to get a N2800, though it's throttled just like the CPU of my other KS-1.

@IceTwy that's not them throttling your CPU, but Intel SpeedStep technology working in "ondemand" mode.

    You can do this:

    echo "performance" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor
    echo "performance" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_governor
    echo "performance" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu2/cpufreq/scaling_governor
    echo "performance" > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu3/cpufreq/scaling_governor

Have you ordered D425 and got N2800 or you ordered while it was listed as N2800?

I think he ordered 2-3 hours before the listed CPU was changed to D425 ^^

  • I hope the N2800 comes back..

My Atom at BHS has gone offline. Got an email within a minute or two of my own monitoring systems noticing to say techs have been alerted and I'll be notified of an intervention soon.

I am considering cancelling as my order stated N2800 (site did D425) but I also got a BHS D425 one :P

  • Well, it's been 3 weeks now and VAT still has not been removed from my account... I know their support is bad, but seriously.

Fired off another email to them... hopefully that helps. Definitely won't be renewing again, if I'm still charged VAT.

I have posted on their forum 10 days ago, although asked many times in these days, no any effect, even nobody reply, perhaps still need at least another 10 days :(

They really change the configurations like crazy in one year. It depends on what they re-stock, what they can re-stock and what other clients give up on so they can re-sell.

Would be nice to know that, yeah. But if you want a N2800, because of the setup fee it doesn't make sense to get a server for a month, then cancel if it's not the CPU you wanted.

My suggestion would be to wait it over until they change the configs back to the N2800 or something better.

Yup, I agree, probably the best thing to do.

This. Unless, like me, you need a small dedi fast and can work with the D425 for a while, before new N2800 stock comes in and I can pump-n-dump the D425 (or grab me another one, a N2800 added).

    Yay, double setup fee!
