All of your "LEB improvements" I've already done that

    No listing for us :(

Maybe he thinks you run LEB, too :3

  • @Aldryic said: Maybe he thinks you run LEB, too :3

Dont let the world know we have a BuyVM box, all hell will break loose. Ooops.

  • @taipres: The site says:

Domain Registered: 04-Nov-2011 (159 days old, 206 days until next birthday)

    WHOIS says:

    Domain Name:ipxcore.com
Record last updated at 2012-02-01 20:13:35
    Record created on 4/11/2011
    Record expired on 04/11/2016

Additionally, WHMCS license says: Reg Date: 2011-05-06

So wasn't really sure where 04/Nov/11 came from...

    Also, what's this:

    Consumer Ratings
Tried out this deal? Rate it! [Sorry Tor needs to be disabled in order to rate]

    @Damian it comes form the 4/11/2011 <-> 11/4/2011 confusion i guess.

  • @rds100: Ah yes, that's probably it

  • @taipres No need for drama. There can be more than one site covering the topic of good / cheap VPS deals. It's called competition and it's actually very good. Time (and the users) will tell how valuable and interesting each site is.

Damian It does look like my mess up, I apologize, it's been fixed. The rest of your registration that's hidden in the DB was right so idk why that was off. Also I block Tor for rating posts to prevent abuse as people were spamming. Only block exit nodes though, so Tor relays should be able to rate.

Also VMPort IDK if i'm going to work on my site anymore. I'm going to keep it up so that users can still find the deals but haven't decided if i'm going to add anymore.

Why don't you have a seat right over there. @Maounique would like a word with you.

It has nothing to do with competitive sales as we are on two different levels and do not directly compete. Maybe when we move into EGI then it will be a different story.

You guys already are in egi though, colocrossing is literally a few rows away from us.

  • @liam said: Seriously? I would of thought buyvm would of been a full time job.

Hrm... I suppose it could be, if you count the work we put in. Probably 10-14 hours a day for me (I take weekends off, though). I know Fran logs a good 16+, easily.

Only for Anthony & I, there simply isn't enough to entertain all of us for full time work. The nodes run stable and more and more of our features are automated so Anthony gets a dozen or so tickets a day and he nails those out quickly.

I'm around for that long, but when things are really quiet i'll throw graphs/etc on the 2nd screen and load up LoL on the other <_<

    Not this again -_-

@taipres said: All of your ideas I've already done tl;dr

I never said there is something wrong with your site, it's pretty good actually and I already said that. It's your attitude I strongly dislike ...

And what have you done in 4 months? You took the LEB idea, improved it and made a pretty decent site. And then you keep coming here to chase away anyone who might be interested in visiting your site. -10 points to your leadership skill

Btw, what is this thread about now?

  • @OP I've been hanging around LEB/LET for about 2 years (gettin an Enotch VPS early in 2010 as my first off LEB), and I've never even heard of cheapvpsdeals.info until this thread. So go cry somewhere else that no one frequents your blog, or do a better job trying to attract people.

  • @vedran said: Btw, what is this thread about now?

    Ducks.

@liam said: how do you guys afford morgages/food etc?

My "real job" is an administrative/IT position for Coca-Cola Bottling.

@liam said: Do you head down to @drmike 's soup kitchen to live?

Soooooooooooooooooo tempting... just grab my pony mask and take a weekend drive out to see what his reaction would be XD

    Louisiana :3

@liam said: You always seem to work on buyvm though! Plus you volunteer for the fire service!

I've gotten the Coke stuff streamlined enough that I'm typically 2-3 months ahead on pricing and other work. Barring the occasional PC or handheld failure, that gives me pretty much all day to do my BuyVM work :3

I live from home since I'm not dating nor married. When I'm good n' ready for that I'll get an apartment. I pay rent and buy food for the whole house all the time so i'm not some bum living off his rents (entirely). We put away very healthy profits, got incredibly awesome rack/bandwidth contracts so we take home a very very healthy profit margin.

I'm still young at 27 so I still got lots of time to get the whole family side of things going :P

Yea but it's Arizona, they're always trying to pass some butthurt law :D

  • rajprakash many "frequent" my blog, the traffic has steadily increased over the 4 months and i'm ranked on google and bing for many keywords. Cheap vps tor, cheap vps vpn, cheap vps proxy, cheap vps voip etc...in fact providers get a lot more views/exposure for their deals on my site than even on WHT. if you see their VPS section, the view count for threads is not much. That's not the point, my site should be #1, period. It's better in every way with LEB besides community. And instead of embracing the quality you guys instead are cheering on just jacking my ideas, features and hard work and adding it to LEB. I'll let you in on a little secret

    image

You can't stack quality on a crappy base, eventually it'll just tumble over. Most communities get this, hence the Frienster to Myspace to Facebook evolutions. Better features, and value and each one took over the other. This community however wants to stay aboard the sinking ship

You post here all day, you kiss up to mods, and they in turn unfairly list your companies deals much longer than they list others.

How does this even make sense? Old posts aren't deleted.

The impression you give me is that you're annoyed that you put some effort into a LEB clone in order to make referral / adsense cash, but the traffic (and thus profit) never materialized.
