There are a bunch of isolated people here who just hang around in chats waiting for someone to insult them. A lot of people here don’t even have servers. They go ask ChatGPT questions just so they can keep up with what’s going on and then come back here and write some nonsense.
People who actually own startups don’t have time to sit around replying to your bullshit. You people are just idle here. You don’t know how to do anything, and you don’t even have hobbies. Just a bunch of unemployed people with no goals.
Tomorrow, when the datacenter is back up and running, you’ll still be here commenting on things that have absolutely nothing to do with you.
You like acting tough behind a screen and using big words. I remember our neighbor had a dog that would start barking at everyone it saw, just like you people do here.
You can bark as much as you want. I’ll come by late at night before I go to sleep and give you your little “brown color” so your brown-color fetish is satisfied.
I don’t know how long you people can stay this hungry for attention. Are you serious? Some of your accounts were created before the COVID pandemic.
How much free time do you people actually have?
@caccamo @Fikol
Please check your ticket. I’ve written to you there and provided access to your data.
@jbiloh what does this mean?
Yes, we’re restoring servers from both data centers.
Each client gets a personal message in their ticket as soon as their specific server or service has been restored.
I’m writing this for everyone whose servers are down. These people are just regular users of the site who come here and comment because they have nothing better to do. They want to keep the chat busy; I don’t know what the policy here is.
Whenever you want to reply to someone, click on their profile first. The people who actually have server problems usually created their accounts on or after September 23.
I’m writing this for my colleagues who are actually affected by the outage.
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing this, and we’re so glad your server is back online! That’s exactly how it works: when a server comes back online, its owner gets a message in their ticket.
Sorry you haven’t had an update, that shouldn’t happen. I will check your ticket number in a private message, and I’ll personally check where your server stands and make sure you get an answer.
It means he will give you chocolate.
@emgh the dude describes you literally.
Thank you for raising this. Please write about it in your ticket, and our team will make sure to help you sort it out.
Thanks @Fikol , could you share some of your precious chocolate with my friend @barbaros too?
It’s empty, I checked.
You’re right, and I owe you an apology. We were a couple of days late with what we promised you, and your patience deserved better than that.
The good news: your data is now accessible. I’ve sent you the access details in your ticket, so you can grab your SQL file right away. If anything doesn’t work, let me know there, and I’ll make sure it’s sorted quickly.
Thank you for staying respectful through all of this. It hasn’t gone unnoticed.
We’ll definitely sort out your issue. I’m personally asking for your understanding: we’re getting a very large number of messages right now, and we’re working through them every day. Often we reply right away, but with this volume, it can sometimes take longer.
If you haven’t had a reply yet, it doesn’t mean we’re ignoring you. We simply haven’t reached your ticket yet. We’ll read every request, reply to each one personally and resolve your issue.
We’re really sorry for the delays. Unfortunately, this period is just like that. We’re working to get back on track so we can reply to everyone right away again, and we expect that to happen soon.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
You have several tickets open with us, so it may be in a different one. I replied you personally. If you still can’t see it there, let me know, and I’ll resend it.
Like your brain
I tested it with cURL. Authentication works and the server returns HTTP 200 OK, but the nginx directory is empty and only shows Index of / with ../.
That’s not true. As we’ve mentioned here in this thread, and as other users have confirmed, many servers and data have already been restored and are back online. We also described this in our latest update on October 8. We share updates whenever there’s real news, rather than on a fixed schedule.
We really are already restoring servers and services, and providing access to data depending on each client’s request. Many clients already have their access, and we’re still working on others, because all of this takes time.
If you haven’t had an update on your ticket yet, please send it to me, and I’ll get back to you in a private message.
Alexandra, forget about the other two for now, they’re probably asleep. I stayed awake waiting for your message because I get the email notifications.
I already explained the problem in my email. Did you give me the correct IP address and port?
Thank you for confirming!
You’re right about the status. Our priority was to restore the servers themselves and let each of you know personally as soon as possible, so we haven’t updated the statuses in the client area yet. They’ll be updated soon, and you don’t need to do anything on your side.
By posting on a public forum, you're making it everyone's business. If you don't wish to invite comment on your decision to not back up data you claim to be important, then you shouldn't keep posting here.
Again, if that 300MB was so important to you, then you should have backed it up properly. That means properly planning and testing the backup and restore process, monitoring it, and reviewing it every so often. This isn't rocket science, it's basic stuff.
And why not? 80TB really isn't much in the grand scheme of things. You could back that up in less than 10 days on a 1G pipe.
$ rclone size backup:
Total objects: 162.977k (162977)
Total size: 184.526 TiB (202888909191216 Byte)
And there are other people here with far far more than me.
Please just shut up for now and let us get on with our work.
Sick burn bro
I hope that work includes offsite backups
Thank you so much for the support! Heroiam Slava! 💙💛
Forget about this place. I only just realized that probably 97% of the users here aren’t even your customers.
Don’t waste your energy replying to them. Don’t make the same mistake we did by arguing with them. Honestly, those people were part of what made us even more frustrated.
Just email the other two customers as well and forget about this forum.
Good advice, you should do that
