Funny thing my server has been down for some time so no possibility to copy data off the server now. Luckily I don't have anything I need and already moved services from it since it's been down for some weeks now.
Yes you can ask them (KYB)
kyc or service deletion without refund, @Dasabo is straight up stealing your money.
Ebsure to verify UBO and that director isn't a straw owner
@Dasabo
I'm on vacation and these clowns want a KYC in 10 days or they're closing the account. Isn't that convenient? How about blocking new orders instead if they are that desperate about KYC and just let the purchased plans expire?
TL;DR
No refund, if you don't do KYC.

He hasn't logged in on LET since May, so I doubt he will show up here and post the same.
(It look like LES is being DDoSed right now)
They never actually mention KYC anywhere in their terms:
https://www.dasabo.com/legal/
And they can't just change the terms later and force existing customers to go through KYC, especially if KYC wasn't part of the deal when the service was purchased..
EU rules don't simply allow a company to add new terms that make things worse for existing customers without a proper legal or contractual basis..
So unless there's some other legal requirement I'm missing, I don't see where Dasabo's terms give them the right to suddenly demand KYC from existing customers..
And in the end, they completely ruined their company’s reputation..
Google indexing is already following them around on LET & LES, and they’re banned from both forums..
We’ll see what happens soon:
(Dasabo FUK acquired Dasabo SRL)
Technically, they're not banned here, but it's unlikely that they'll return to face the unhappy crowd
Oh... Thats bad...
Kinda like... Never had a good feeling about them. Glad I'm not involved in the drama
he was claiming it was an IT law not general EU, for whatever that's worth. i do have a vague memory of another italian provider requiring kyc some months ago and several of us having a bit of back and forth with them about it but can't recall the name at the moment (don't get old kids, it ain't fun).
also what he'd said in the les thread was accurate identity information (not kyc) was required by tos but some customers triggered kyc verification and if they refused to comply they were now violating tos and he could keep their funds.
also (personal opinion) they had no reputation left after the other shit they pulled here a few months ago with the support employee sneaking multiple thousand dollar charges to customer credit cards.
it was quite interesting to watch the thread over there and how he was engineering his responses to seem like a legit businessman and not just another internet shitbag that found a clever way to steal people's cash, and a little scary to watch people unaware of the DASABO history seeming to fall for it.
deadpool wouldnt surprise.
LOL he got banned from LES.
LAMAO
To those who don't know: c1v is a scammer who lost his provider tag on both green forums, and now they are voting him up for posting offers without a provider tag.
(Dasabo got banned on LES because of down voting, not by a admin. On LES, an account is automatically suspended or banned if it reaches -25 karma.)
He's voted down (-3). I'm the only one who voted him up but he's still -2. How is he a scammer, besides claiming he operated from a datacenter while actually operating from his home? Oh, and charging VAT to non-EU customers.
I figured. Hopefully the mods don't reverse it manually.
He has:
1) taking payments or leasing subnets/services without delivering them, and marking unresolved or undelivered services as active while closing support tickets.
2) been unprofessional, argumentative, or "corporate" dismissive when handling user complaints and refund requests.
3) been scraping RIPE database registry details to unethically send marketing or spam messages.
4) made hostile actions or threats of DDoS if users publicly called out his practices.
and he didn't have an automatic cancellation of services in the system, forcing cancellation request of recurring services to be done over email, but never took action or replied to the requests.
On top of that he sold services with terrible CPU steal, sluggish network performance, and unstable VPS/VPN nodes.
And there has properly been more.
Not true. I didn't do KYC and got a (prorato) refund.
Basically, dutch law says that only in a very few situations recognizable pictures on IDs can be asked for. Their KYC is based on comparing that picture to another picture of you - so I can't do KYC. Explained that to them and got the option to get a refund.
The rest just seem like shitty behavior, but that's certainly more scammy. I didn't know that. Maybe I just got lucky with my service.
Let me correct myself (this is stupid):
99.9% wont get a refund, but @Calypso did.

That’s quite a rap sheet. I can definitely confirm point 2 after I have schooled him several times (check my comment history from ages ago) on how unprofessional he is, and that he needed a PR company.
I definitely want to see the proof of the rest, and that should be sent to the admins of both LES AND LET so he can get a lovely long term ban.
After seeing how he tried to portray himself in the other place vs what his customers here were actually reporting, I found myself siding more with the majority. At that point, anything he had to say just came across to me as corp-level PR BS and damage control.
seems they are cousin of veloxmedia
deleting servers of LET users
My guess is that because of the price hikes on hardware, he is getting rid of services with low profit / sold on green forums, so he can resell the resources at higher prices elsewhere.
And with no prorated refund an unsustainable service becomes profitable.
Not to mention, it means every single Chinese person will get kicked out since Stripe doesn't, to the best of my knowledge, support China for KYC. That's gotta be a lot of profit Dasabo is pocketing.
Don't forget, it's impossible to do chargeback if you pay using stripe payment via alipay
LOL, Bullshit.
Seems like everything that comes out of Dasabo's mouth is bullshit.
The thread on the OGF is worth reading for comedic value alone.
Yeah, and they're lying about it. Would I count on a refund? No. But you can always try. And if they tell you "we don't" just mention that they did for others. And in the end I also choose not to do KYC; they gave me 2 options: other way of doing it or refund. Ofcourse I took the refund.
Most likely they've (again) been surprised by the reactions and they are trying to limit financial loss or effort to put into it. Another example of the stupidity of Dasabo.
stupidity is harsh but he really has never been good at this. his attitude in very first offer thread i saw is why i never bit on any of his deals.
if the provider is an asshole to you while trying to get your money, imagine how he's going to be after he has it.
