so in the end, customers of alexhost and AVA.Hosting did support these shady behaviours or MIRHosting and so on?

Well, my crystal ball is as accurate as yours but in the end it doesn't really matter when your severs is in the same place as the one of people who did.
48 hours and servers still offline with no ETA by the way.
What exactly do you expect to happen here? You went with this provider for a reason, and that reason should come with the knowledge that there is some risk of the service becoming unavailable at any moment. It's not like there is some configuration issue or even a hardware failure that can be worked through.
"I move my stuffs already lol"
But still complaining, maybe it is best to wait patiently for alexhost to give an official update.
Lets say you pay for a hooker.
The hooker vanishes after 5 minutes.
So you look for another.
You found one, got your business done.
You still paid for the first hooker.
You gonna let that pass?
If hookers are not legal in your country it's of your interest to not publicly disclose the fact of you ordering a hooker and resolving the dispute privately
They are as legal as selling VPS.
In this case the hooker that disappeared has offered a refund or a date with a different hooker. OP is crying that he wants the original hooker back, but she has a yeast infection and can't work.
update:
i got a replace VM from alexhost yesterday and seems this is the best they can do right now
are you stupid? this is announcement for other potential customers of Alexhost as well. Everyone need a update for this circumstance, other users will consider when they are chosing Alexhost for their service.
3 days downtime and still going btw.
fuck @alexhost ... just another scamming host. bro steals customers cc. read the shit online. its wild.
It is not for me to decide, that would be your own issue to resolve if 5 minutes is enough
Okay, You paid for the whole hour.
How is supposed to have ETA if you don't have any ETA?> @stouferz said:
Hello.
Is not a scamming host. We are in the market for years.
The issue is not easy. When we receive update or any ETA or news. We will update.
If you aren't satisfied we can refund. Do you think a scammer will offer options? We are giving Moldova location temporary until we restore and fix everything.
Alexhost
why is every single one of your comments either you calling a provider a scam, or you cussing them out
Your monthly cost is like $5, not $50k.
In what world are you expecting a phone call from a budget provider after an outage?
GTFO.
Not a good word to use especially in hyperbole in this example. There was 2 shitty customers and LET defended Racknerd.
Day 3. Server is still offline btw.
They offered you (temporary) migration to Moldova, because it's clearly not something they can solve within a few hours. Which should be a very reasonable solution.
People choose this provider for a reason. This reason is not the price, speed, good peering, or latency. So the difference between Netherlands and Moldova is virtually none.
Are you sure about that. It is like western vs eastern Europe. So why they offer Netherland servers then? Just put all of their services in Moldova.
Also, 3 days offline is 3 days offline (advertised 99.99% uptime on the website btw) . It is still going without ETA. And this is announcement for future potential customers. Alexhost has virtually no control over their new server locations.
What is the actual difference between those 2 locations? and don't tell me better ping to Europe because aint nobody gives a fuck about those extra ~30ms.
This is just your incompetence to migrate your backups in case of disaster - which is literally what happened. What if the Netherlands datacenter had a fire, like OVH before?
They thought they can offer NL location but chose a very bad neighborhood (datacenter) to do it from - MIRhosting that was sanctioned for being affiliated with Russia.

.
Another idiot assume me incompetent without reading the posts before first.
It is 3 days offline and still going, dont make excuses, im doing the service for future customers of Alexhost if they considering using them. Im not doing the complain for myself.
It's on the admin to deal with backups and failover plans. If that is supposed to be you, you should plan better or get replaced by someone who knows what they're doing.
This is why Amazon and anyone running production services have regions.
No need to assume, it's pretty clear.
You are not making anyone a service, you idiot, because the situation doesn't put alexhost in a bad way. Disasters happen, and providers are judged by how they handle the situation. Alexhost handled the situation exceptionally well, giving it's complexity.
So if anything, this thread is just to demonstrate that alexhost is reliable, and customers like you are hostile idiots that deserve to be kicked from everywhere possible as clients.
Because the moment something happens, they start spreading their vile shit anywhere they can, without critically and objectively thinking what happened.
Edit: off-topic.
GTFO
3 days server offline and still saying this. Hollyshit bootlicker/asskisser boy. What Alexhost do to you.
That's like complaining the grocery store is closed after a hydro pole providing them power is taken out in an accident. The action item is on the Hydro company to restore power, the grocery store ain't restoring power themselves and it's not a black eye on the grocery store.
