    Yes, you have a reason to reject the DC-03 and it hurts when the forced DC migration happens within no time. But you need to learn a lesson.

    In your previous screenshot, it says the billing cycle is annual. But the next payment date is 05/22/2028 meaning at last time you renewed the service, you renewed it more than for 1 more year while the Terms and Conditions clearly mention that no refunds by default.

    DC migration by the service providers is not a uncommon practice. This is applicable to other cases as well. You should be to ready to either drop the service provider or accept the change. The lesson you need to learn is don't pay more than what you expected to pay and don't go for long term contracts unless you are ready to accept these kind of situations.

    agree. I honestly didn’t expect they would remove services from DC02. It was probably one of the best datacenter locations they offered. i do not understand their decision.

    Normally, I wouldn’t even renew service for such a long period of time. it's cheap and i kept it for years. i trust them and i do not think too much.

    actually should just give option to OP to refund whatever left or extend OP's DC3 VPS.
    i myself deploy 3-node(vps) cluster using greencloud sg-dc1 and sg-dc2, not the best scenerio but im ok. thus for example, if 1 day provider down to sg-dc1 only, i will too look for 2nd provider for high availability. im sure OP has his reasons for different DC deployment, could be for backups, fallback or high availability zones.

    All this fuss over a $10/y server? Even if you pre-paid for 3 years (which seems particuarly stupid when Racknerd don't typically increase prices anyway), it's a lot of fuss over nothing.

    And for the record, I too had my server moved from DC-02 to DC-03, and I too liked it for routes to China, and I can guarantee I have significantly more Racknerd credits than you. But it is what it is, I'll spend it on something else. Causing a fuss isn't going to get that routing back for you.

    Yeah, while I do see price differences on their various specials/deals, the specs vary so I assume if I mathed it up, it's all the the same base cost for cpu/mem/storage. Though that's for new services... In the last 5-ish years I've had services from them, it has always been the same price to renew.

    Exactly! Racknerd's TOS (which you accepted) clearly says that they per default do not offer refunds. Therefore, asking for a a refund is asking for special treatment.

    Let's think about a case, what if they didn't migrate, but change DC02's route to a worse one, the same as DC03. Do you still think you have the right to ask for refund?
